Edited on Aug 4, 2024 minus 2 stars: Great selection of art supplies, surprisingly indifferent lady at the counter. I explained I was in town taking classes at the Woodstock School of Art and had driven from out of state, but that I knew there were coupons on my account from the last time when I was out this way and asked if the lady could please look it up for me. She was distracted and indifferent. No friendliness. No nice comments. She looked it up, flatline commented I had two coupons, and walked away. I quickly picked out an item I needed instead of getting all the items I had hoped to get driving all the way out here. When I got to the register the other lady who had been there when I walked in and heard the initial exchange asked me my name again and seemed lost. I'm sorry I drove all the way out here because I could have ordered these items online for less money. I try to patronize local art stores but I won't return to this one. Not worth the drive from where I'm staying and certainly not a nice experience after driving 10 hours to this area. Very unpleasant experience. Never again. . . . . . Excellent customer service and variety of high quality supplies. One of the best art shops I've been in throughout my travels around the country. The customer service rep was super helpful even though I had a rather long list of things to find/ buy. I look forward to calling for more supplies or coming back in person...

I had terrible service at Catskill Art Supply. After spending thousands on framing, the work was completely unprofessionally done. One of the frames was scratched. Another one had the work fall within the frame due to incorrect hinging--I had to fix it myself. And when I arrived with a truck to pick up the work for my NYC exhibition it was not ready on time although promised on that date and time a month before. I waited 2 and a half hours for it to be finished, causing me to arrive exceedingly late to my gallery to install my show. When I complained to the owner and asked for any kind of compensation he told me he couldn't figure out a price to compensate me for so would not compensate me at all! I recommend you go elsewhere for your framing needs in the Hudson Valley and NOT use...

A couple of years ago I ordered a lot of note cards with photos of original artwork. The quality and price right on target. I was asked to review a sample of all the photos before accepted. Fast forward..picked up another large order, took it all home for a better look with a family member. To my surprise most were inferior considering that they charge for every ounce of work. Oh by the way they lost the previous scanned photos when their computer crashed. The reason why I won't be back ? They were going to charge me for redoing because I left the store and then came back. They lost a good customer. Poor customer...
