OMG! I wouldn't never recommend nobody to go and buy their furniture at maddys in Mount Vernon the customer service is really poor. I purchased my vanity on November 4 and I just receiving it on November 19, I was supposed to get delivery yesterday I spoke to a lady on Friday that I need it on Tuesday after 2 pm because that was the only day for me available she said it was fine that she well document the account when Tuesday come they call in the morning asking if somebody is there to drop it off when I specifically told them I wasn't available in the morning they said that the guys will go to new jersey and wasn't going to get to me on time. Fine I let that pass... I told them someone will be home after 11am they said it was fine for 11. 12, 1,2pm came and they wasn't there. my husband was just closing the door to leave and the delivery show up, left merchandise on the box came back and open it because somebody from the store call them, they took it out of the box to make sure everything is fine. they just show it to the from and had my husband to sign for it. Now I get home and they didn't even took the garbage left the boxes here and the funny thing is that my furniture is damaged every corner of it. I don't want it anymore and not going to pay all that money for damage furniture. I will return it and never do business with them. Read moreMy shopping experience was great, my salesperson Izzat was terrific, and I would comfortably give him a five star. He was very attentive and patient and was willing to help. However, everything went downhill when I was supposed to get my furniture. I went in eight days early in an effort to guarantee a specific delivery date for the 8/1/2019. I was told I would get my items then. The day of my delivery I got a call from a lady saying that the furniture would not be delivered until one day the following week, without an explanation. So I asked her why I was not informed before my delivery date and what was the problem.
Come to find out my sofa bed was late coming from the factory and as for the other items she decided not to bother send them out for delivery. I later called Izzat, who told me he was out sick for a few days and just got back and promise to follow-up to find out out what was going on and would return a call , which he did. He explained what was going on promise me another delivery date.
Long story short I did not get my full delivery until the 8/15, fifteen days later. Thanks to Izzat, I was kept in the loop of what was happening, and he exercises great customer service. The delivery service, however, is inadequate and unapologetic and needs to be monitored.
