While I felt I would have been happy with whatever was presented to me by the Love of My Life, he preferred that I be included in selecting my ring, as I āwill have to wear it for the rest of our lives.ā He joked and said he didnāt want me waking up angry with him or with gnarled knuckles dragging around something he thought would look great on me (hilarious)⦠So!!ā We went in together to āring shopā for our engagement. Bobby was a complete professional. He invited us in and displayed a genuine interest in our story. When he worked with us, he did not allow distractions to invade our time. He politely acknowledged the presence of other customers, but gave us his full attentionāVERY much felt valued!! He listened to every detail about what I envisioned with sensitivity. (ā¦and honestly speaking the only feature I actually envisioned was a narrow band having not so long fingers). Bobby made suggestions, but was responsive to my preferences. He provided gentle correction and shared his knowledge, freely, without overtones of being opinionated. Not a single time did I feel I was being pressured to do something more than I wanted. Not once did I feel I was being manipulated like Iāve observed some jewelers do to upsell the mate making the purchase. Bobby was an absolute gentleman, who allowed my preferences and my vision to lead. May I say: I didnāt even know I had preferences, but through his every attention to detail regarding, color of metal, width of the band, the height of the centerpiece, plain band or not, etcā¦By the time we walked away, we both truly felt not only satisfied in what we were having created, but felt edified in the education provided during the process. Bobby, himself, is a true gem of the industry. I am thankful for him and his inclusion in our love story. I HIGHLY recommend that he becomes a part of yours. What a positive experience and what a beautiful resultā¦I saw it for the first time when My Love introduced me to it while on bended knee. It is the beautiful and simplistic design I preferred. Bobby and his jewelry-making team, made its radiance showcase-ready: wonderful and picturesque! ā¦and The Man who presented it to meā¦and placed it on my fingerāmade it absolutely PERFECT! Thank you, again, Bobby. God bless you and may business at T&R Jewelers continue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in today for a gold melt appraisal or possibly selling the gold to this store. The reception of the owner surprised me, after I purchased fine watches from him in the past. He simply looked and felt the bracelet, and since it was light and unusually colored he immediately dismissed it as "not even gold". I politely left but also felt embarrassed with the whole conversation. I brought the same jewelry to another jeweler in Pelham Bay and it was tested. Turns out it's a 14k with a thick gold plating so it was definitely a crappy quality jewelry. Despite this the 2nd jeweler offered to purchase the gold for melt. I sold it to this 2nd jeweler and whether or not the market price was to my liking it was not important to me anymore. At least this 2nd jeweler treated me as a customer. T&R's owners showed it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I went and dealt with the gentleman who I assume was Tony everything was great. He helped me with a few pieces. I went back with limited edition discontinued Michelle Garden party watches I have been collecting ,for batteries. One of them I bought new and was in mint condition, the others I bough used in good condition because they are collectors items. I wish I had taken pictures to show what this girl did to the backs of my watches. They are scratched embarrassingly for someone who says they service Michelle watches. One of my more recent finds on PoshMark had pictures of the watch so that one is easy to see the damage. I didnāt realize till I got home and went to put them back in the box. Iām writing this now, because I was looking at them and got mad all over again. Shame on you lady, they are...
