Dealt with two employees here and both were completely unable to help me with my phone problems and totally unimaginative in coming up with solutions, certainly did not seem like experts, let alone knowledgeable. Furthermore while one of the employees was polite and reasonably attentive (Eric), the second employee I dealt with was very cold, never introduced herself or asked for my name, asked zero questions of me besides to occasionally unlock my phone and seemed completely uninterested in helping me or explaining any steps she was taking to try to solve my problem, all while I patiently waited literally right next to her for over an hour. Finally, their recommendation, after I waited over two hours to have my phone activated, was we “can’t activate this phone you’re going To need to return it”
So the next day as a last resort I took my phone to apple store where they were completely baffled at the verizon store’s inability to activate my phone and reassured me that they could do so. So they called Verizon’s helpline for me, had them activate a SIM card remotely and then put that activated sim into my phone. Voila! My phone that was supposedly unworkable and needed to be returned so I could buy a new one worked just fine. I have no idea why thy were unable to solve this simple problem at the verizon store as they never explained to me what issue they were encountering or any measure they took to try to work around it. All I can is it was an extremely simple work around, and anyone with the slightest amount of knowledge/initiative could have made it happen. certainly they were uninterested in solving my problem, or even understanding it over at verizon. Overall the whole experience has left me with the impression that the employees at this establishment are totally unknowledgable, lazy, and incompetent. Probably a mixture of all three. Small redeeming quality for them, at the very least they were not overly rude, and did seem to want to help, even though they were completely unable to solve this simple problem that an apple genius, who does not work for their company, was able to solve in 15 minutes using a customer helpline. So Thank you Russell cellular for wasting 3...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. I recently visited this Verizon store and unfortunately, the overall service left much to be desired. The store seemed disorganized, and communication was lacking. It was frustrating to see customers waiting without clear guidance or assistance. That said, I do want to recognize one employee Jonathan, who stood out in a very positive way. Despite what appeared to be understaffing and poor leadership, he remained professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful. It was clear he was doing his best to keep things running smoothly-even stepping in to handle issues that should have been addressed by the manager. I truly hope Verizon takes notice of this employee's dedication. He was the one bright spot in an otherwise...
Read moreIf I could give this store no stars I would. The customer service was awful! The prematurely balding man behind the counter that was supposedly helping me got my phone number and pin wrong at first. We spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out called Verizon help then realized he was wrong. Okay whatever! Then he went ahead and told me that my history with my bills was too inconsistent that in order to upgrade my phone I would need a 500$ down payment on top of the 200$ bill. I walked out, called Verizon wireless and asked what this fee was for and they told me that since I had been with the company so long there was no down payment. So I left to the Verizon store on central avenue where I got everything I needed without the 500$ fee. Don’t go to this store....they’ll try...
