I have been excited to try Makonda since I've enjoyed trying one of their other locations. The empanada an cheese bread was fine. However, I did notice that the entree I ordered (Picada Para Dos ) appeared on the Door dash menu but not their website's menu. I'm not sure if that meant they threw something together to fulfill the order but I was so disappointed when I opened the package to discover food that did not appear to be fresh. I have been buying food at this place for quite sometime now. It never disappoints! Homemade style food, very comforting! Yesterday for the first time I tried the “sopa de tostones” Super delicious and flavorful, my new favorite! , the empanadas and pastelitos are always a good choice as well! The chicharrón is also really good. The only thing I am not a fan of is their arepas, but they are ok. Great Colombian restaurant to bring your family n friends for special occasions or for a quick breakfast or to pick up an empanada, chorizo or a pan de bono, or arepa con queso. Food n service are great, the employees are very courteous n are present when you need them. I love the small coffee that it's offered before or after your meal.
