I was in need of lumber and found Dain's Lumber online. As always, anything I find online to me seems questionable. BUT, I have to honestly say that when I called them to inquire about the actual type of lumber and their prices; I was impressed by both! The representative that answered the phone - took their time to explain to me my concerns and actually educated me on the difference of the lumber that I needed. Their prices also were by far the best (and I looked around). Then for the real test - I thought if the only reason why their prices were reasonable was because the quality of the lumber was very poor. Once again, they proved me wrong - my contractor agreed that the wood was of good quality and will definitely be using them again to continue the work in my home. Lastly, they assisted in loading the truck with the material - their hospitality was unreal to say the less. Many might think that they actually pay for good reviews -- but unless you try them - you will not know what you are missing from this company!!! I will recommend and continue using them. The team at Dain's is unfailingly professional, taking the time to understand what I need and make their best recommendations for a cost efficient, quality product. They come to my house to take measurements themselves when I am uncertain of exactly what I need, they deliver products personally, and they find solutions to tricky repairs to an old house that doesn't always fit modern dimensions.
