Working with Seekricher Steel Window was a fantastic experience. We bought a house in northern Westchester County in 2020 that was built in 1925, which had several steel-frame windows. We wanted to replace one window with a similar one that was a different size and then add three others of the same size, and Todd Seekricher, who now heads the company his father founded, could not have been more helpful. All four windows have now been installed and look spectacular.

I also have a NYC apartment in a building built in 1925. The owners of one of the two penthouses did a complete renovation a few years ago, and they had all of the steel-frame windows and doors removed, refurbished and re-installed. It was a remarkable transformation. I had a problem: with 100 year old steel casement windows, the caulk was crumbling, glass was cracked. The windows no longer closed properly; cold air leaked inside. After a repair with another company went awry (we had smashed a window playing ping pong), I sat on the problem for years. I considered replacing our windows entirely.
