My love and I had the most wonderful dinner at Elevated Sol tonight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting — a beautiful ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable meal.

The food was absolutely exquisite. I had the ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with rich, soulful flavor, while my lady enjoyed the chicken, perfectly braised and bursting with depth. Both dishes were a true testament to elevated Southern cuisine with a Puerto Rican soul — comforting yet refined.

What made the evening extra special was the service. We were served by the owner herself, who grew up in Rochester by way of Puerto Rico, and she couldn’t have been more welcoming and personable. Food was excellent (maybe a bit salty but delicious anyway). We started with tostones - yums! My burger was a couple of juicy patties with sweet/salty onion & bacon jam and just the right amount of cheese, accompanied by fries. Ketchup would’ve been an insult. It was yu-ums! I stumbled on this great place in downtown Rochester and was taken back. I thought it was a fancy restaurant/bar and needed to be extra fancy but that was not the case. The place is beautiful and yes you can go in your best but you can also go in sneakers and jeans and are more than welcomed by the owners and staff. We went for salsa lessons and drinks and had a great time! The vibes were amazing and I cannot wait to go back and try the food!
