"Small brewery with a large focus on great tasting beers. If you are a fan of NE IPS's they have 4 on tap of their own creation as well as several other styles, stouts, lagers and such. Worth a stop, better than most other breweries in the area." Original review.
I have to adjust my review and rating. Was āāāāā, now only ā. I like to organize pop up brew tours and gatherings with my friends and added iron tug to the list. We were met with an upset owner when we , a group of 20, came into the brewery for beers. The owner was upset and concerned about the large party. The brewery was empty and had only another customer inside, with ample outdoor seating in the rear and front patios. Part of our party we're offended and left, so we as a whole went to the Half Pint Pub next door and they, a smaller establishment were able to take our business and provided great service.
Swiftwater, Strange Bird, Roc Brewing, Three Heads and Sagers Beer Works we're all very accommodating and we're happy to have our buisness. Sagers even gave us some free beer tokens for making the trip to their brewery.
I will not be adding iron tug to our list of breweries for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally love Iron Tugās beers have enjoyed them at bars around Rochester, and bought a mixed 4 pack when Reed White, and brew had an Iron Tug tasting. This place though kind of turned us off. Went in tonight, and it was busy. We were in what we thought was a line waiting for about 10 minutes. Lots of people were ordering flights and only 1 worker on a Friday night. I donāt mind waiting, but as we were waiting 2 rude people went up to one of the bar stools and asked the bar tender to get them a drink while he was making other peopleās flights. He took their order over telling them āthose people have been waiting in line and I have to get to themā. That is a huge turn off as a patron. If youāre going to roll with one bar tender on a Friday night there should really be a dedicated line system or the bartender really should let people who just try to order a drink know they need to wait for people who have been waiting 10 minutes. We left, went to Half Pint next door which was super busy, and got our order...
