I would give Royal Jewels 10 stars if I could, they go above and beyond! Michael is a gem (pardon the pun) and can make anything, or repair any piece of jewelry. To celebrate my divorce, I designed myself a custom ring because I never got an engagement ring before (or a proper wedding, I married in jeans, adidas gazelles and a thrift shop tee shirt with Brothers Against Killing Eachother on it in our lunch break when we were designers for a famous fashion house). I had always wanted a pretty ring as years went on. What better way to than to make my own? Sisters are doing it for themselves! Michael immediately got to work after I gave him the design and size, and shape stone. He sourced several stones to choose from - and all were so beautiful it was hard to choose. In the end I chose the one that spoke to me the most. It was perfect. We set it East West as that’s what I wanted and he made a sample and it was impeccable from the start. The price by the way was so reasonable! Marquise cuts always have bow ties but the cut is so pretty you barely see it at all. It was in the window of his shop a while as I had not had a chance to pick up and people would stop in and ask about the ring. 💍 I have a matching necklace that I will be picking up shortly. Went here on the suggestion of a neighbor. I went one day myself to look at wedding bands and was helped by Nanette. I told her I wasn't sure what I wanted but had a few ideas. She was extremely friendly and helpful and let me look at/try on many styles. She then told me if I had pictures of ideas to email her son, Michael, who is the gemologist and he could either bring some things from their Manhattan location or custom design something for me. Once I narrowed down what I wanted, I emailed Michael with a few photos. He responded that he had a few similar in Manhattan and that he would bring them to Rye. I then made an appointment to see Michael and the rings with my fiancé. One of them was perfect and so I chose that (white gold with 3 small baguettes) and then Michael helped my fiancé choose his band (black tungsten). We were treated with patience and courtesy every time, in person and over email or the phone, and the jewelry is great quality.
