After much debate, I decided that my 23 year old, almost mint condition, Mercedes-Benz finally needed an upgrade. It was time to replace the cassette tape-deck radio and upgrade to a new wireless Apple CarPlay enabled touchscreen. After doing some research I decided to visit Boomer Mcloud in Schenectady. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the General Manager Joe. He was super patient and answered all of my questions without trying to give me the typical sales pitch. He walked me through all of the options available for my car and scheduled my appointment. I wanted to retain the classic look of my radio console so I purchased a console frame that matched my original but could fit a touchscreen instead of just my old tape-deck. Needless to say the technician customized the entire setup to fit as I envisioned. I’m very happy with the entire experience. Not only did Joe and his staff provide great customer service, they did an excellent job installing my custom frame, touchscreen and backup camera in under 3-4 hours as projected. Was just in to look at DSP options to integrate to my HD amps, and k40 detection. I was on the floor for 5 minutes while a representative sat behind the glass window playing solitare on the computer. I looked at everything in the store, and took a picture of their hourly rate. Not one word from anyone. I've been in the industry, professionally, for 12+ years as a sales manager and install manager in Virginia. This hurt me to see such poor customer service and lack of dedication to the craft. This is THE place to go. They did great years ago with my sub. Now with my factory speakers starting to go, I went there again for a quote. They were very informative and answered all my questions without being pushy or trying to talk me into something I didn't need. Prices were very comparable and they did an awesome job. They were friendly and accommodating and got me in fast. They communicated well and made things very easy. Could not be happier with the outcome.
