Firstly, I never like to give bad reviews however I walked out of this store so taken back and instead of holding this in,this was my only recourse! This jeweler moved into this new location convenient to me so I decided to try them. I started off by bringing in a few repairs which seemed ok. Then I went in to buy a watch band. I purchased a watch band and after 20 minutes had to bring right back as the loops that hold the band down fell off. I went back they gave me another band and again after a half hour I went to tighten the band and the band just broke away from the watch. So when I went back he gave me a band that was a bit more costly and did not charge me. Thank you that is good business. Then a bit later I bought in an ankle bracelet semi precious stones to be restrung. They gave me a price, not cheap ,however they said it's time consuming, I left it there picked it up great! Within 1 month it broke and I lost alot of the stones..I had lost my receipt and the jeweler said he has never seen this ankle bracelet.. the owner seemed to of remembered, so they took it in and said we will not charge but it was with a very perturbed attitude. Note, also giving me the watch band that was a few bucks more was also given not happily..At this point I should if seen a pattern , the never not being able to remember my things,,,and the owner trying to satisfy but not happily...unfortunatley I had to go back because one of the very first repairs I gave him was a diamond bracelet which they soldered in one place and put in a pin. When I bought that back, again the jeweler did not recall the bracelet again,,,and the sales girl said to me ,,,you did the same thing with the beaded ankle bracelet???? What did I do? Nothing it broke your supposed to service e a customer and fix it after 1 month..why are you blaming me? Then the owner came out and said even if I recall it's probably not in the same place were he soldered and put the pin in last time..I said yes it was,but ok,and to jog your memory, you asked me who was working on this bracelet before with all the solders? it's so stiff and the lock is cheap! I said Twinn Jewlers.. He had something not great to say about them....Anyway he gives me a price to resolder, and a new pin for my diamond bracelet, in 1 spot.A very steep price. I said wow!!..he then said you know what? Go to Twinn Jewelers,I'm not touching it!! So very unprofessional people, and please dont try to try to turn the tables on a customer for your errors and make like I'm the problem here,,,, besides the customer is always right in good business..they lost a good customer!seems as though as soon as something goes wrong and the customer has an issue...your done!!
In answer to the owners response to my review.... it's not exactly what really happened that you are trying to make good for yourself...I brought you things that you repaired.. namely...restringing an ankle bracelet that broke within 1 month, receipt or not, you did the job. I guess not having a receipt gives you the upper hand to bull doze and try to say you never saw the piece before?? Same scenario with my diamond bracelet. Yes twin did the work many times so did another jeweler. But I was giving you a try being in a new location and yes you fixed it as you did my beaded ankle bracelet and i paid fair and square. But that also broke in a few months. I bought it back.. again no recollection of it ..was willing to pay but at least not a high price being it was just fixed by you which your jeweler your sales girl was doubting I ever bought it to you. Saying I'm trying to get away with something like I did with ankle bracelet. That's not nice..I'm a returning customer. You want to keep your customers,, you tell me go back to twin?? Why because I felt you were steep...you decided not to bother?? Did not want to come down on repair at all.... I kept coming back at first i had no issues in beginning... but then a pattern started not recalling my pieces,??? . and yes I had to return 2 watch bands in 1 day.. fell apart...no...
Read moreVery disappointed with this place! I came in on Christmas Eve looking for a ring for my husband. I even said how picky he was. They didn’t mention once how they had a no refund policy that I could only exchange or get store credit!! So I come to return it and they refuse saying I can exchange it. What’s wrong with your jewelry that you won’t take refunds? What a waste of 90 bucks!!
Update after response: As you can see from my first review I am adding on after the response.
I clearly stated that I was offered store credit or exchange.
Great that it’s posted on a receipt that is given AFTER purchase. That’s super helpful...
When I bought the ring I wasn’t near the register.
I made it clear when buying the ring that I didn’t know if he would like anything and said I would ether exchange it or return it. Going into detail saying I would get his mother in Turkey to find the ring he wants if he doesn’t like these!!! Where it was NEVER SAID returning wasn’t an option!!
I never said there was a defect with the ring!! Just who knows what is wrong with any of your jewelry for having such policy.
Yes I choose nether because I didn’t want any of those options. What give you guys more money for something we...

When I returned to pick up the cross, there did not seem to be any repair. The young assistant agreed that it was still broken and called the manager. The manager could not have been ruder. He insisted that the cross had been repaired -- even though the cross showed no signs of repair and was in the same condition as when it was brought in originally. I asked if I might leave the cross for the owner to see. He said the owner would confirm that it was repaired. If I wanted the cross back, I had to pay $19.95. I forked over the money and he handed me the cross. What a...
