Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

I didn't even want to give this place a one star.. Not only are they rude and disrespectful, when you call to ask for a supervisor to discuss a matter you have, this young lady name Shimmee I guess decides to disconnect my call not inevitable but three times.. I thought maybe the first time it was by accident but nope.. she did it two more times.. on the fourth call back she tells me she hung up because they are busy.. I was like wow.. instead of telling me that you just hang up the phone.. mind you, I wasn't even disrespectful to her.. after she says oh we are busy she not wvwn being a manager of any kind decides to ask me what was my issue.. I told her I would discuss it with her manager when he calls which he hasn't.. completely rude.. my issue was I went in on Wednesday evening to get an ice cream cone.. I pull up and see this young man sitting outside by the trash can.. I speak, go in and wait to place my order.. well... he comes inside, goes behind the counter, to the ice cream and asks me what is my order.. This guy didn't even wash his damn hands!!!! 😡😡😡 I'm waiting to be respectful to see if he was joking and was going to wash his hands after I placed my order but oh no he didn't!!! His name is Loni... i asked for a manager and the cashier said no manager was there...I see that is a pattern.. I placed the order took that damn come and after I drive off I threw it away...Seriously..I was so upset that I left so I wouldn't curse him out... never again will I go there.. if you do make sure they are washing...

This particular DD (i.e. Dunkin' Donuts) I really like; as they are quite fast, in taking your order and returning with your items. To top it off, they are also very pleasant and professional. The only caveat I perceive is that it takes awhile before they get out to clean the tables and the space in the eating area. If they would resolve this matter, a 5 star rating would be easily achieved. Also, they need to inspect the chairs; as at least one of them has a fissure half the length of the chair! And accident waiting to happen.

The place is commonly frequented as a result of their swiftness. I've been to many DD shops; but none (imo) have matched this particular one (all things considered).

Free parking is plentiful here, as well. I returned to this location a couple of days later. To my surprise, the cracked chair was no longer on the floor. Well done, Dunkin!

Now, just be sure to keep the dining area clean. It's understood that this is the result of negligent customers; however, it's your store and subsequently your responsibility.

Food for thought: The guests of the house do not blame the cat or the dog for the fur on the furniture. Likewise, nature is not frowned upon for overgrown lawn; but in both cases, the homeowner's negligence is not acceptable.

When I was a kid, Baskin Robins had the famous 36 flavors. In many respects, it's still the place to go to get great ice creams. All of their flavors are delicious and a banana split is well worth it. I think this particular Baskin Robins is in a great spot in the Tanglewood shopping center. The combination of Dunkin donuts and Baskin Robbins together is not such a badd idea. It's nice to have a cup of coffee or tea with ice cream. It's also great fun for the kids. There's a nice bar/stool area to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. Parking is free....
