Adobo Mexican Grill — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

I ordered from Uber so I can't comment on the service and atmosphere but boy can I comment on the food.

Do NOT order Uber from this place. Based on how positive the reviews are, either they're paid reviews or there is a complete disparity between in-restaurant food quality VS take out/delivery quality.

I ordered the nachos with chicken and I've never tasted a mixture of pure salt and lingering rotten poultry in my life. It's very clear this restaurant was using close to or even expired chicken. The taste was just salt. Like they were just trying to mask the flavor. Yet despite that, I could taste the horrible quality of the meat that made me gag.

Not only that but the amount of nachos their plate gives is embarrassing. Gave just enough to make a kids size macho bag seem like a regular size.

If I ever get a chance to try this place again, if ever, I'd much rather due...

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Adobo Mexican Grill in Yonkers with my family, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were warmly greeted by Maria upon entering the restaurant. She prepared our food with care, a cheerful smile, and great attention to detail. Maria was not only professional but also very knowledgeable—she guided us through the menu and helped us choose the perfect dishes for our taste.

At the cash counter, we were assisted by Danish and Zia, both of whom were courteous, professional, and very helpful.

One of the nicest and greatest service I received in fast casual restaurant. The staff behind the counter were so patient while you choose your sides and even gave us free spicy sauces (get the mint and red sauce). On top of that, the chicken bowl were amazing! The chicken was so flavorful, not dry, fresh, and sufficient. Meanwhile, the side selection were also fresh such as the onion, jalapeño, salsa, and corn.

It is easy to compare this to Chipotle because it has the same concept, but Adobo is the real winner here. The freshness and flavor in each ingredient, plus the friendly smiles will make us go back for more.
