Sushi Palace in Yonkers, NY, an all you can eat sushi restaurant was recommended to me by all y'all in the comments of my last negative sushi review, so I'm here to check it out! First off, the interior looked drab and boring but that's actually a good thing; an Asian spot that doesn't care about its appearance is always a HUGE green flag for the food. And the sushi, delivered. I've never been to a sushi spot that serves slabs of sashimi THIS thick before, and the fish to rice ratio is just right! The quality of the fish itself was great, with the eel and the white tuna being particular stand outs for me. And something unique about this place is the hibachi station, where you can give a chef a plate of customizable raw ingredients that they'll cook and bring to you when its ready! The food wasn't mind blowing or anything but it's still a unique addition considering it's built into the price! The only thing I didn't love is the small and mediocre selection of kitchen items, with most of these being pretty basic options that tasted pretty reheated, but if you go to these places for nigiri and sashimi like I do, then you're in for a great treat! But what's your favorite sushi spot? Let us know, and follow the page for more local foodie finds and honest reviews! #sushi #yonkers #ny #westchester #ayce @Mikey @Warren Gabrillo @tamhuynh3644

All you can eat sushi!? Gotta be a dream come true!! Had the pleasure to come here for first time and I immediately rated this place as a "DEFINITELY MUST HAVE". I was craving hibachi for a while so I was brought here to satisfy my craving for both Hibachi and sushi and I LOVED the place. Taking into consideration the price, service and quality of food, it's a great buffet style restaurant, all they need in order to get the full 5 stars is maybe a bigger variety of sushi. All the food seemed to be very fresh and everything was well done and delicious. We were welcomed by three Asian waitresses and a gentleman, tbh it was a little annoying at first but then felt good to be served by such attentive crew, the waitresses and waiter took turns and came to the table every 5 minutes to make sure we were satisfied with the service and we had everything we needed, genial!! Loved the fact that you can serve for yourself the food you want and then bring it to the chef's table so he can cook it for you. I would say it's a different style of hibachi but good in its own way. My biggest surprise was that before arriving to the restaurant I was advised not to leave any trace of good on my plate cause they charge you if you do so, I didn't believe it and first thing I see when I seat down is a sign next to me that stated in different words "if you waste food you'll be charged", that is actually part of their policy, and i also LOVED that. Do not waste any food, EAT!!!!! Come by!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible place the waiter try to attack me with a group of people that worked there trying to muscle me for $71.75 after spiking my food i had children with me under 1 eating the food. we are violently sick and my insides are on fire. When i showed the waiter the mistake was on their part , everything was volcanic spicy i could taste nothing. Instant indigestion this Young lady buffs up her chest and says so!! So what!! So what's up. i was lovid she had absolutely no regard for human life. They knowingly ruined are meal with intent to cause bodily harm. Then they tryed to rob us the $71 was actually $41 big jump yeah i know i should not have had to pay a dime for such a bad experience. I need to get intouch with the better business bureau. I asked for their names at first the manager refused to give me my 3 server's names then proceeded to make names up. So much dishonesty, unethical actions and discrimination a traumatizing experience nonetheless. I will never spend a dime there again and i absolutely do not recommend this wicked place to anyone the crazy thing is i use to eat here a lot the order is the same order every time why would you try that knowing i am a frequent customer. And i tip. I give this place an epic fail. It's Officially on the boycott list. Thank you.

One star is being extremely generous this place is HORRIBLE!!!! My boyfriend & I went for dinner here tonight let me explain my experience, we walk in & i ask if they did hibachi they say yes & go to walk us in. This is not the normal hibachi restaurant where they cook in front of you they bring you to a table & on the opposite side of you is a man cooking the hibachi we decided to stay & try it out. They placed two different paper menus on the table with a pencil & walked away not explaining how things work i thought it was strange but i went ahead to read the options. On the top of the menu it says dont waste food or you will be charged then again it said that all over the walls. I was very confused by that. Im the type of person who never finishes my food & always takes my leftovers home so before we ordered i figured i would ask what that meant. The waitress said you cant take food home i was so confused & said ok we are going to go thank you always. Then said wait ill give you another menu. So the first menu was for a buffet style ( Which was never explained when we sat down) Still wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt my boyfriend ordered the buffet hibachi & I ordered my hibachi from the menu so i could take my left overs home. Now the price for buffet was never displayed anywhere on any menus. They tell my boyfriend to get up & get his food. He goes to the man who’s going to cook for him and all the chicken, steak & shrimp is just out sitting there not covered or refrigerated. The shrimp & the water looked very dirty. He chose the chicken & steak just to give it a try, when he came back to the table i was grossed out by the way it looked. I called the waitress over right away asking if that was the same chicken they used & i wanted to cancel my order. I really wish i took pictures this all happened so quick. My boyfriend forced himself to eat the food he’s not the type to say anything he just wanted to pay & leave. But i feel like if i just ordered my food it didn’t get to the table yet & after seeing his food i shouldn’t have to pay for that meal. Another waitress came giving me an attitude saying the food is already cooking & she didn’t know if the chicken was the same. I told my boyfriend to get up we would pay for his food which honestly was maybe 4 fork fulls just to get out of there. They started screaming telling me no & giving me a check for $50. He literally had maybe 6 tiny pieces of chicken & steak. They didn’t even give him rice. I asked to speak to a manager they said no one was there. Then some other man came over they are all talking in another language then another lady comes over now trying to tell me the chicken is different that my food is almost done & they will wrap it up for me. I said i do not want the food you never put it on my table i refuse to eat something that will probably make me sick. I said i will pay for his buffet meal & for the two sodas which we didn’t drink. It was a big back & forth i couldn’t believe they were screaming at me and acting this way. I am a new customer & i was being nice enough to want to pay $30 for a few bites of food that was gross and two fountain sodas we didn’t drink. I was so glad we had cash since i usually use my card to pay for everything. I paid them $30 & left. Please save yourself time money & your stomach dont bother stepping foot in this place. They are scamming people & that is exactly why all over the walls it says you waste food we charge you. The food is horrible & they still want to get paid. They get a zero star...

At first, my wife and I didn't know what entrance to go into as the restaurant is separated into dine in and dine out sections. In fact, my wife and I were sitting in the car after our meal watching people trying to figure out which door to use. We did the Christian thing and pantomimed from the car which door to use, joking that Sushi Palace should give us a discount on our next meal for getting them some dine in customers.

That humorous anecdote out of the way, on to the Restaurant proper. It has a buffet feel to it which make sense as that what it is. The seeting is comfortable and the decor is relatively plain. Where Sushi Palace shines is the food.

For $27.50 you get all you can eat hibachi and Sushi. My wife and I went for a good combination of both, and the hibachi was good. But to be honest, the sushi is where it shines and if you go there sample the hibachi, but save your room for the Sushi. The Sushi is excellent here and there are a wide variety to choose from. This was our first time here, and when we return next time we will definitely zero in and sample a greater variety of the rolls and Maki available. This place is especially good for a friends group night out. Oh and the Strawberry Ice cream was amazing. You don't necessarily expect amazing Ice-cream from a buffet, but it was so good it...
