I have a large family so I am at this location 2-3 times a week, and I don't usually write these types of reviews, because I know everyone has a bad day sometimes. But I used to love this Stater Bros location! It's newly remodeled, fresh and modern and it used to have the most friendly staff, but something has changed in the last year. Most of the checkers barely look up when you enter the line, and rarely speak in a friendly tone or even smile at anyone. I have even on occasion asked if they were having a bad day, because the checker looked visibly mad at everyone.
The floor staff on two occasions has asked me to move out of the isle during business hours so they could sweep the floor, and the meat department is so loud laughing and talking among themselves, that you can hear them throughout the whole market. And in produce, I often come across staff gossiping about the managers or problems they have with each other while stocking the produce. I feel like I am in a bad soap opera when I come here.
Thank goodness for Tina! She is the shining star at this location. She is friendly and makes you feel like you are part of the family. I hope they use her as an example of the right type of...

Store ..... he said ok , ask for him & he would take care of the return for me ....... i get theregive him the receipt, & because it had (fad-it) some , a little hard to read , but still able to read it , he than said No' he couldn't do it ..... i said why not , this is why i call you first before coming to return, you said ok , & because its a little hard to read ,& said he cant do it ..... i show him on the receipt , here is the (ITEM) & here is the (TOTAL DUE) here is the TENDER (how it was pay for) (CASH) ..... i said this is why i call you before coming to return this item .... he than said No' can't do it , have a Nice evening & walk off ...... they dont stop to think , without the customer's , they have No' job , they need to be more helpful & work with there customers & know how to be of good customer...
Read moreOnly complaint was in snacks isle under every type of Doritos it says 1.99 and at register it showed as 3.99 and after telling them they just looked like what do you want me to do and I just said remove and told them you guys should update your prices as every single type of that chip has 1.99 on it and they said oh yeah.

I would give them a negative if I could. Don't shop here, horrible service and scanners. I understand you need to buy multiple items to get discount on some products. But there was a sign for Doritos that said buy two get one free very big multiple places. ALL the LAYS product had yellow sale sign that read 2.49 and NOTHING ELSE. NO MENTION that you need to buy 4 products. No where in store. Got home looked at receipt that I paid 4.49. I'll never spend another dollar in their store. Not everyone reads your coupons that says must buy 4 you should post THAT SAME VERBIAGE in store before l you get one of those...
