I wish I could recommend this place but I can't. Go to Vermella, westfield station or Woodmont instead!
Pro's: Clean New Spacious compared to some competitors Super friendly/helpful maintenance staff that respond very promptly to any concerns Lots of adorable dogs to greet when you walk around the property or through the hallways multiple accessible garbage chutes makes it convenient to dispose of trash/recycling very easily with a short walk Acces to FIOS internet 95-99% of the time I don't hear any noise from any of my neighbors
Con's: My greatest gripe with this location. Over 1 year later and they still cannot properly fix the main entrance apron with the harsh drop off onto the street requiring you to slow to a crawl to enter or exit causing a potential hazard on a very busy street not to mention the abuse to your wheels and suspension if you drive any modern car with low profile tires and actually care about your car.
Insufficient parking. A normal 2 bedroom unit without a den is only granted one parking spot. If you want a second spot you will be expected to pay an additional $100 per month and you will be told you will be placed on a waitlist because there is no room. Meanwhile both employees at this location occupy two residents parking spots in the garage! There's a waitlist, but employees are occupying resident parking garage spaces?! make that make sense!
I didn't notice this during my initial viewing of the apartment, so I blame myself at least partially but if you live on the north side facing the parkway you WILL hear EVERYTHING. If the parkway doesn't bother you, the obnoxiously loud hvac unit most certainly will. Those two alone are significant factors to the extent that my friends do their best to avoid hanging out at my apartment unless necessary.
Over $3300 per month in rent but you are still charged $10 dollars per guest you bring to the pool and absolutely no food or drink allowed in the pool seating area. Do I care about $10? No not particularly, but it's the principal of the matter that I am being charged a large homes mortgage worth of rent and STILL paying for guests to use the pool.
TV's by the grills have no cable, the only option is to pair your phone and use your data plan to stream videos. What was the point of these tv's then?
Gym now is closed at 10pm even though there are no tenants on the ground floor that would be disturbed by any noise nor are there any machines that would cause any significant noise not sure why this rule was imposed?
I hope you don't plan on cooking more than ramen noodles or scrambled eggs here. There is no proper stove hood/exhaust, the only installation is an overhead microwave that recirculates your cooking fumes back in the kitchen directed higher up towards your extremely sensitive fire alarm which WILL go off at the slightest bit of smoke. Definitely no burgers or steaks here, outdoors at the grill only! If you think I am joking stand in the hallways ANY morning between 8-10am and I PROMISE you WILL hear SEVERAL apartments fire alarms going off almost every day. You could press the "hush" button on the fire alarm which makes it "less" sensitive but you will have to press this EVERY 5 MINUTES.
Zero organization to the mail rooms. sort for yourself off the ground in a field of packages. No numbered racks, package lockers or semblance of logic in place here.
Building construction appears to have been a rushed job definitely take time to carefully inspect your unit before accepting it...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience during the two years we lived here! The entire community and staff were always so friendly and welcoming. Ana was especially amazing — she was incredibly responsive, always had such a positive attitude, and truly took the time to get to know us as individuals, not just tenants.
The community events made the place feel like a true family, and the maintenance team was consistently quick, efficient, and respectful. Both Enrique and Lenny were knowledgeable and great to work with.
If we had to pick one con, it would be that packages were occasionally hard to locate, though that seemed to be more of an issue with delivery drivers not following instructions. Overall, we truly loved our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a community with beautiful amenities and even...
