Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Clark

If I could give ZERO stars I would for customer service. I was in this establishment on Sunday, 9/25/22 in the morning (around 11:30am) picking up an Uber Eats order. There were 2 guys waiting at the pick up counter, so I waited patiently. One of the girls came over and asked them if they were picking up, took the names and proceeded to get their orders together and they left. Both guys were white. I walked up to the counter expecting her to then ask me if I was picking up and SHE WALKED AWAY, DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ME AND PROCEEDED TO WALK AROUND IN CIRCLES AROUND THE OTHER STAFF. She blatantly ignored me (I am African American by the way). I literally watched her do absolutely nothing and I stood there for a good 10 minutes just waiting to see if she was going to greet me. Not only that, none of the staff bothered to asked was I being helped!!!! One young guy was just walking back and forth, humming and clapping his hands. There was 2 other young ladies making the donuts. I watched them as they acknowledge every single customer in this establishment, except me. I didn't say a word, because now I'm furious. Instead, I proceeded to cancel the order and walk out. I called and asked to speak to the Manager and they just passed the phone back and forth to each other pretending to be the manager. TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they have a problem with a particular race, they better learn how to hide it for the sake of the business. Absolutely Ridiculous! It unfortunate, because I was just simply there to pick up an order...

Excellent donuts with a bevy of customization options from the coating/glaze to the toppings to the drizzle. The coating include none, cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, glazed, chocolate icing, vanilla icing, strawberry icing, peanut butter icing, maple icing, lemon icing, blueberry icing. Toppings include rainbow sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, Graham crackers, chopped peanuts, chopped bacon, shredded coconuts, Oreos. Drizzles include hot fudge, marshmallow, salted caramel, and raspberry.

The donut itself is a vanilla cake donut.

The donuts are delicious.

Problems with any Duck donuts is whether they are other people ordering before you. The donuts are made to order so it takes time to get your order. I would strongly suggest ordering online and picking up in half an hour or so. The two employees were going non-stop filling orders and people were getting upset and yelling at them. Those two employees were doing a pretty good job if u asked me.

Think of it this way that they need 5-10 minutes to fill orders of 6-12 donuts. So if you're the 4th order there you are going to wait for...

There's no secret I love doughnuts. Typically, I am a lover of yeast doughnuts but even though Duck doughnuts are cake doughnuts, I still love them! What makes them good is that they are fried to order when you place your order. You can choose the exact toppings you want on every single doughnut you order. The doughnuts are topped fresh while still warm. If you are transporting them they may melt a bit but they still taste just fine in my opinion. It is best to eat them fresh in the restaurant if you have the ability. I love almost every style of toppings I've tried. You really can't go wrong. I will say though I find the price point a little high. Just high enough where I won't waltz in and buy a dozen every other day. Though they do offer a coffee and two doughnut special for ~$5 which I don't think is bad at all. Definitely check this place out and bring a friend so you can get more doughnuts and...
