Me and my boyfriend were shopping at the nearby Michael's when my boyfriend looked at me and said randomly "I could really go for pizza right now." As soon as we walked out of Michael's, the sweet smell of a fireplace hit us. We did a quick google search to find pizza near us, not knowing Blaze Pizza was so close. When we first walked in we noticed it was like a "Chipotle style" restaurant but for pizza. When we walked in we noticed it was pretty busy in there and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We got to the beginning of the line and we were greeted warmly and asked if we had ever been to Blaze before. Upon learning that we had never been there before, the girl behind the counter did not hesitate to explain all their options and combos. My boyfriend chose to get a whole personal pizza, which comes with unlimited toppings and I got half a pizza with garlic knots. Going through the line was a cool experience being able to pick from an abundance of toppings and much more. My boyfriend was overjoyed that they had the option of a spicy pizza sauce. Seeing the pizza being made fresh right in front of you is amazing. The prices are really fair for all you are getting. How quick we got out food was amazing also. The pizza is thin crust and super fresh tasting. I also got the Mango aqua fresh which was SO yummy! Everything we ordered was delicious! The mozzarella pesto garlic knots were some of the best garlic knots I have ever had. While we were eating the manger, Ricardo, came over to us and asked us how we were doing. He was so friendly, welcoming, and just overall a very nice person. He assured us if we ever have an issue at his location that he would be right on it. We left with fully bellies and VERY happy. We will definitely be returning to this location and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to any pizza lover or anyone looking for a new place to try. You will not be disappointed. Wish I could give it more...
Read moreI usually have great things to say about this location, however I recently received the worst service from some of the newer staff members. Typically the wait time is only a few minutes and the service is polite and friendly. Using the online app usually makes it easier to just go in, pick up my order, and go.
Earlier I made an online order for one of the Take Two Pizza + side combos. When I arrived, they'd skipped my order and made the other online orders and in-store orders. When I asked if my order had been received, they cancelled my online order and opted to make it on sight and said I would pay in-person. When I asked if I would still be charged for my online order, they said no. They proceeded to start making my order incorrectly and tried to charge me for a full price pizza and garlic knots instead of the Take Two which was less expensive. When I pointed this out, they treated me like I was inconveniencing them when they were overcharging me. They still ended up leaving out some of my requested ingredients. I order online to avoid using too much of my lunch break to order in-store. Because of their poor service, I had very little time left to eat my food.
After all of that, I still got charged for the previous order! They charged me both for the online order and the in-person order after assuring me that I would only get charged for the in-person order!
I don't know what happened to this Blaze, but some of the new hires really need to learn how to properly treat their customers because there is no reason for someone to be treated rudely and have their orders made incorrectly even when they remain polite with the staff....
Read moreEdit: This restaurant deserves an edit review. I have been back about 10x since my initial review and the service has definitely improved. Someone always greets me when I walk in. One time my pizza was burned and the manager had them remake me a pizza right away. I have actually been so blown away by the turn around. There's always an employee keeping the seating area cleaned. The person who does the finishings on the pizzas is great. I'm Happy to continue being a regular customer: ) I went into blaze Pizza today for the first time. I wasn't sure where to order so I went to the cash register area. I was standing there for about 5 minutes it was one customer ahead of me. No one greeted me, no one asked me if I needed help, no one directed me to the right place to order. There was a girl flipping around boxes, I decided to ask her if this is the right place to order. She directed me to the right area. The person making my pizza was on his phone at that point I wanted to leave. I asked him if he was ready being that he was on the phone and he told me that he was listening. The staff was rude, unfriendly, seemed annoyed that I was asking for service, and overall very unwelcoming. That was my first time there so I wasn't aware of how many toppings I can get and it was just a bad experience when the customer service is absolutely disgusting. The pizza turned out ok but the customer service seriously needs to...
