ALDI — Local services in Clarksville

I visited Aldi and bought two packs of chicken. Upon returning home, I opened the package and was immediately struck by a foul odor reminiscent of rotten eggs. It was evident that the chicken had spoiled, as I had just driven there from Aldi.

I promptly disposed of the spoiled chicken in my trash can and returned to my car, intending to head back to Aldi. Upon reaching the store, I approached the manager and explained the situation, requesting a replacement or refund. However, she informed me that without the product, she was unable to take any action.

She suggested that I retrieve the spoiled chicken from my trash can and bring it back to the store. This request was utterly disgusting, absurd, and unsanitary, as I had just returned from a ten-minute drive to Aldi. Despite these concerns, I complied with her instructions.

The only outcome of this incident was a credit towards my next purchase at Aldi. I doubt I will ever shop...

I would like to be contacted by this store. I placed a pick up order that someone marked as picked up when I never picked it up I did not have time that day to chase the problem so I ended up just shopping myself and planned on calling customer service. I was contacted later that night by the store saying they still had my order even though they’re the ones that marked it as picked up so I couldn’t check in for curbside. I told them I received a message saying it had already been picked up and that I ended up shopping it myself and asked them to cancel it. They said they could no problem, they did not. It has been two weeks and there is no direct line number for the store....

Grocery prices are fair. But when it comes to customer service Aldis deserves a negative review! As for the blonde young lady that seen me with a buggy full of groceries trying to go through the regular checkout line that walked off and acted like she did not see me… While I stood there and waited for you to get back in your chair to check me out. You ignored me and moved boxes around like you were actually working… then when I go to shelf check out you want to hurry back to your chair to check out people with very few items.
