Longhorn Steakhouse proved to be nothing short of impressive, and it is with great pleasure that I share my delightful dining experience. As a discerning connoisseur of steak, I approached this restaurant with high expectations, and I must admit, it exceeded them in every aspect.
Without a doubt, the porterhouse steak we selected was a masterful execution, flawlessly combining the succulent tenderness of Filet Mignon with the rich flavors of a perfectly cooked NY Strip, precisely medium rare to satiate the most refined palate. The dinner presentation was accompanied by a choice of a single side and a salad, and being a lover of culinary exploration, I opted to savor the delectable crispy brussel sprouts by making a modest addition of $2.79 in lieu of the traditional salad.
Our waitress, the amiable Brittany, proved to be a true gem of the town, engaging us in delightful conversation while also expertly guiding us through the menu. Her impeccable service was accentuated by her attentiveness to ensure my iced tea glass remained brimming, a feat that often proves challenging for many waitstaff. Brittany demonstrated her finesse, skillfully managing her other tables with remarkable efficiency, even finding time to clear and tidy as she skillfully balanced her duties.
The ambiance of the restaurant was characterized by a harmonious blend of tranquility and charm, providing a serene backdrop to our gastronomic journey. The flavors of the porterhouse lingered tantalizingly on our palates long after the meal had concluded, leaving us yearning for another opportunity to relish its exquisite taste. Already, plans are afoot to revisit this culinary haven.
Though some might argue that preparing a meal of this caliber at home might prove more cost-effective, I would gladly endorse relinquishing the culinary reins to savor an anniversary celebration with my beloved wife in such a splendid establishment. The total bill of $86 for a dinner for two, inclusive of the divine 23oz Porterhouse, additional sides and refreshing iced teas, was a small price to pay for the unforgettable experience we shared.
In conclusion, Longhorn Steakhouse left an indelible mark on my gastronomic journey, setting new standards for excellence in steak preparation and service. For any steak enthusiast seeking a superlative dining experience, this restaurant undoubtedly merits a top spot on your culinary...
Read moreExpect to wait forever since they will hold tables for parties that arrive after you've checked in. First experience we waited over 45 min before leaving since the hostess couldn't figure out how to seat our party of 6. We kept being told we had to just wait for other tables to finish and there's no time frame. Last night we had a party of 8, called ahead to check in arrived at 430 was told it would be 30 minutes. After almost an hour went back to hostess and she said I can seat your party at 2 different booths, a 6 top table with 2 chairs at each end or we would have to wait an unknown amount of extra time to find a table to fit us. After looking in the dining room there was a large table available that would fit our party. The manager stated that they were holding that table for a party of 15 that arrived well after us and all their party wasn't here yet so they were saving it. I asked why they would get the table if we were here almost an hour before them and he said because they have a bigger party. Told me it is what it is I dint know what you want me to say. They squeezed us in a 6 top table with 2 chairs at the end. There wasn't enough room on our table for appetizers and our glasses at the same time. We barely were able to fit all the dinner plates on. We were elbow to elbow eating steak and our server was great but the ones that brought our food were extremely rude. Placed hot plates at one end of the table that belonged at the other end and had us handle the hot plates ourselves as they walked away. We will NOT be returning. It seems they need training on customer service and seating etiquette. Their wait times are just a shot in the dark with no backing to them. Very...
Read moreFood was great... Expect... the Outlaw Ribeye we ordered med rare... came to us more like well done (well... it was well done) the manager came out quickly and got another steak going right away and comp'd us for the Outlaw Steak. The brussel sprouts were delicious! (We ordered OutIaw Wings to-go... for a late night snack (we haven't eaten them yet... but they looked much better on the menu... I'll update the the wings later). I ordered an Outlaw Old Fashion cocktail and it was 1 of the best Old Fashions I've ever had... (it was the best I ever had)... Service was pretty slow... it felt like we waited nearly 45mins to receive our meals. Others in our party were very hungry so it bothered them more than it bothered me... Our server was super nice. My cousin and my wife felt she was a bit too friendly with our soon to be 24 year old son... She was flirting but our son is very handsome (takes after his old man... lol)... My cousin was visiting from Alaska. So I was just enjoying everyone's company... including our server... she was engaging, fresh, very pretty, and fun with a sense of humor... She was 1 of 2 young ppl in 1 another's company and there was without a doubt chemistry there. I say... Let the kids have some good CLEAN fun!... in my humble opinion... Overall... it was a pretty good time with family, good food and a good server, with really good drinks... I had fun and everyone else did too... (There was a lot of laughter happening)!
Sometimes things take longer than we'd like (Of course I would have appreciated my food sooner)... But I have consciously been working on my patience for more than 5 or...
