Spiceland Indian Grocery — Local services in Clarksville

I forgot to take pictures, but noticed the first person to review the store covered it well. His review was perfect. I had a very similar experience when visiting with my wife. The owner is over the top nice. He has a most impressive, wonderful vibe about him. The store is very well stocked with varying prepared dishes to take home. What they have changes daily. There might be chicken or goat curry one day and chicken Biryani or buttered chicken another day. I find there are several choices in the refrigerated section. The selection of products is exceptional. They have fresh organic produce, Amish milk, fresh meats, frozen meals, cookies, cakes, delicious hot Chai, cooking supplies and more. I have an Indian neighbor who taught me how to make various Indian dishes. This store has far more items than I even know how to utilize. There is no question they are a 1 stop shop. Wifey even bought a copper water canister which she has been wanting to purchase since learning about it's health benefits. I have wished for an Indian restaurant in Southern Indiana for years. This is a really excellent store with a wide selection of great products and an exceptionally friendly couple who run it. They really went above and beyond to help me get what I needed, providing a level of service that I have been trained to not expect from stores with such competitive prices. I feel very lucky that this was the first Indian store I tried after moving here; I spent over a decade trying different Indian stores around my previous hometown, and the one I was happiest with had less than half the selection and an owner who seemed to want nothing to do with customers until it was time to take their money. For as long as I live in this area, Spiceland Indian Grocery is where I will do the majority of my shopping; not just because they have everything I need (and probably some stuff I don't yet know I need,) but because this was one of the best shopping experiences I've had at any kind of...

This is my favorite spot on Clarksville. If you’re ever in the area it’s close to the Green Tree Mall near the Ollies and it’s absolutely worth the stop. The man at the counter is very friendly and they have a great selection of items in stock. The prices are reasonable for authentic Indian products and the fresh food at the counter is delicious. I have to get the samosas every time and try anything new available! I come to get frozen meals for my work lunches and everyone comments on how good they smell.
