New China Buffet — Restaurant in Clarksville

I like a good Chinese buffet. This is the best Chinese buffet in Clarksville area. Good go to for lunch. While loading your plate They seer shrimp, chicken & beef with veggies of your choosing. Most customers don't even notice the raw food area by the salad bar for this. No extra charge. A few items on buffet not so good. Fresh Seered shrimp for lunch. Good! They drinched shrimp in weird sauce. It was nasty. After that I remind them no sauce. They understand. I like yellow Fried rice, egg foo young patties, chicken entrees & apple cobbler with soft serve vanilla ice cream. Yum. Although Both Lo mein noodles & crab ragoon are lacking. Update: go to for lunch. Seered shrimp, yellow rice, fried fish in corn meal, egg foo young patties, egg rolls still all good. Nice atmosphere. Update: I'm a regular lunch customer now. Quality consistent as previously mentioned. Fried fish lightly battered with cornmeal overlooked by many. Save money and get water. Update: i hadn't been in over a month. I do miss it. Let me explain: I complained during my last visit the water and/or water glass tasted odd. Tainted. They brought me another glass of water. it had the Same odd taste. I only had a few sips of water. Anyway, later that evening a got very sick. I love Chinese food and very disappointed I got really sick from there. Update: tried again after a long absence. Most employees have changed. Food wasn’t as good. Some things tasted like they were refrigerated and then re-heated. I got a coke in a to go cup. Food was okay although I am not fully competent it won’t make me sick again. August 2024/update: dined here twice since under new ownership. more signage throughout. same hibachi grill, no soft serve ice cream machine though, maybe more of a variety of food, sign says they are closed on Tuesdays. Price for All day Sunday is the same price as dinner. Sunday lunch was $18.18 with tax and no charge for water. We visited here after seeing good reviews. We dined at 6pm on a Friday. The food was lukewarm and not flavorful. The selection was fairly slim compared to our favorite buffet in Louisville. The sushi presentation was poor. The rolls looked as though they had been out for a awhile and would fall apart when you pick them up with the tongs (I passed). I didn't try the hibachi as the selection was slim (chicken, steak, imitation crab, and a few veggies) and it all looks unappetizing sitting on plastic wrap in bowls. The sweet and sour chicken has the texture of a processed frozen chicken nugget, but the sauce was very good (again the chicken was lukewarm). The egg rolls were good and crispy. The beef and broccoli was cooked well and the sauce was passable. The orange chicken sauce was tasty and the chicken was cooked well, but a little soggy. The best things on the buffet were the fried shrimp. We tried the pepper peal and eat shrimp. Though flavorful they had been sitting for awhile and were lukewarm. The coconut shrimp sauce was overly sweet and artificial tasting. The fried sugar donuts were good. The service was exceptional however. We were greeted at the door by two kind ladies. I really wish ALL Chinese buffets were like this one! I travel around a lot and so far I have not found any other Chinese restaurant that has better food or service! Their food is always soo good!

I've been going here to eat for over 5 years. Sometimes often for months on end...sometimes I am away and haven't gotten to go for several months.

I hadn't been here for about 7 months because of my traveling. I just had to go yesterday cause I'd missed it so.

No mater if it's been a week or 7 months in between visits ...everytime I go back the food is just consistently great!

Atmosphere, food, people are all amazing! And the whole place is always sooo clean.

Even thru the pandemic they handled everything so well with efficiency & grace and they always make you feel so welcome.

I went here thru the pandemic because I wanted to support them...but the reality is they supported me...they Really helped keep a good feeling of some sort of normalcy thru the pandemic. They were so efficient and clean an still made you feel so welcome.

Hands down just The Best Chinese Buffet! Love you guys!
