Spirit Halloween — Local services in Clarksville

10/30/22 Update: this year I went back bc it had been a few years and they had moved so I was sure things were different. I got there 45 min before close. They literally turned the lights off and started yelling at everyone to leave 30 min before they were supposed to close. I left and watched as people pulled up and looked confused because Google and the sign on their door indicated they were supposed to still be open. When an employee walked out to lock the door a customer pointed this out- she literally shrugged her shoulders. Good ol Spirit Halloween; disappointing customers for decades… My kids and I were harassed by an older woman with a raspy, smokers voice about an empty package my son accidentally dropped on the ground. Then she retreated to the cash wrap where she started pointing and loudly mocking us. Also she wasn’t wearing a mask, which is incredibly annoying. Last year I had to fight for a refund after I was sold a costume that was missing half of the included items. We discovered this on Halloween so we had to scramble to find another one for my toddler before trick or treating. I guess I should have learned my lesson from that...

Today I took my sister to Spirit Halloween and I donated plasma earlier in the day. My worst night mare. I was going down. I felt that I was passing out and panicked cause I was the only adult with young teenagers. The people of spirit were immediately at my side to make sure I was ok. I was on the ground by one of the animatronics and they turned it off so it wouldnt touch me. I was offered water and soda for sugar. Then walked behind the curtain so no one was staring at me. There I was given a bag because I was going to get sick. I had someone to sit with me while I regained color. Then told to wait a little bit in the cool air before driving. Love coming here every year! It's the best place for costumes, with tons of ideas & all the accessories you need for those costumes, as well as those for DIY costumes! You'll find stuff you wouldn't even think of it. The large decor for outside is unique & great as well! If I had one critique, I'd be that they don't have a whole lot of indoor decor, but perhaps that's because other places may offer that & they specialize more in costumes and outdoor items? Not a big deal, just an observation I've noticed over the years. But I definitely recommend if you need a costume or costume ideas, as well as being the best house on the block with their...
