I used to come here with my grandma when I was a child and hadn't visited in years. I just recently began shopping here frequently over the past six months, and man - it's hard walking away! Haha, there are SO many booths and SO many selections to choose from! From clothes/vintage clothes, older US currency, tons of DVD selections, nicknaks, chinaware, toys, tools.. you name it! I suggest going within two or three hours before close, because it will be difficult not wanting to walk down one more aisle and see what's around the corner. I also really enjoy how it feels like I'm in my own little world, it's so easy to get lost in your head while you're there. It's so much fun to visit just to get out of the house, but it's also a nice place to visit when shopping for a birthday/Christmas gift - you never know what unique item you may stumble upon that a loved one will enjoy. Prices vary according to booths, obviously. Some booths are super cheap while other sellers may have their items priced according to market if not higher. But there's plenty to choose from! If you do buy fragile items, the cashiers do an AMAZING job at wrapping items accordingly and when I did buy a bunch of vintage chinaware, they put it in a small box rather than a bag, which I thought was helpful in terms of carrying and not worrying about anything breaking. I'm positive you won't be disappointed and that everyone in the family can find something they are...
Read moreTHIS IS A REVIEW AS A VENDOR… I was a vendor here for the last 2 years - previously I have been a vendor in 2 other Peddlers Malls as well as other Antique Malls in Louisville. I am only leaving this location because I was offered a spot in another location less than a mile from my house (I live in Kentucky). If you are looking for a place to be a vendor you cannot beat the Clarksville Peddlers Mall. In 2 years I can count on one hand the number of things I had go missing which is extraordinary for any retail location - they have security cameras and they go above and beyond keeping an eye on everything to keep your items where they belong. The store itself is always clean and well maintained, they do a great job of sending out reminders to keep your booth clean as well as keeping aisles clear. The staff here all work very hard as well as being as a group the friendliest staff I have ever dealt with in an antique mall. They are all very helpful in any way you can imagine. 100% the best staff you will find at any antique mall. If you are looking to be a vendor in southern Indiana I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing so here at the Clarksville Peddlers Mall! Sales are always good and it’s a great location with...
Read moreThe Peddlers Mall - a place where you can find just about anything and seldom leave with nothing. Filled with a collection of vendors each selling goods in mostly 10x10 booths, the collection spans the spectrum from tools to dishes, books to records, cabinets to mattresses.
Here are the pros and the cons: The pros of this mall is that it does have a rather wide array of items and many of the vendors offer reasonable prices and have merchandise in decent condition. I’ll occasionally find a unique item which makes the visit all the more rewarding. The con however is that the building needs some TCL - the roof occasionally leaks - and some of the vendors just pile merchandise in their area or offer items that really aren’t in decent condition. Despite the cons, I enjoy visiting, but am just aware those are pieces I’m going to need to see through.
Of particular note: This location has a vendor who sell kitchen and bathroom cabinets - great if you are a do it yourself individual. Several vendors also sell used books if you are a reader. Record seem plentiful as are older toys such...
