Food and Meat Co-op — Local services in Clearfield

The wonderful ladies that started this are savings savvy, amazing, kind and so sweet!! They have made it easy and affordable, pick up is a snap and I have saved a ton of money by not shopping at the grocery store, especially since impulse shopping is a specialty of mine. The benefit of being a prime member is totally worth the low yearly fee as well, it pays for itself in savings pretty quickly!! I most recently bought a half of an American Waygu beef and a 9cu ft freezer to put it in, it filled the whole thing to the top and the meat is beautifully packed and so delicious. My husband plans on buying one at least every other year, if not every year. I am super happy with the raw chicken, bacon and pre-made foods that I've also purchased. The produce has been so fresh and delicious, it's great getting it straight from the farmers. We really can't say enough good things about this co-op and I've told many of my family to join so that they can get great food...

Great option for supporting local farmers and knowing more about the meat you buy. I bought a freezer last year to hold more of the great meat and products I get from the Food and Meat Co-op. I feel more prepared for the changing dynamics of food availability. I love the quality of meat that is coming direct from farmers and I can be aware of their farming practices. I love the Staples pack with a variety of meat to cover lots of meals through the month. I also buy the 40 pound chicken breasts regularly and package them ready to thaw and grill. I'm happy to be a part of this co-op and appreciate all of the hard work that goes into making it run smoothly. I recommend...

There isn't anything I don't love about this Co-op. The meat never disappoints with grass fed/finished beef, the tastiest chicken I've ever had, lots of fresh caught seafood choices that use NO ANTIBIOTICS EVER. The prices are more than fair, especially in this market. But the best part is they are always working to provide safe, DELICOUS gluten free and dairy free options and for Celiacs like me, it's such a blessing.

It's always growing and there always seems to be a new amazing food option to test. I haven't bought meat from the grocery store in over a year and I feel like I'm doing a sliver of my part to help local farmers and provide safe foods...
