My experience with Life Storage was that it was secure, very clean, well-maintained and well managed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They were very accommodating except when it came to the terms of payment. If I had to store my belongings again, I would store them with these guys. Great Job!

I have two good reasons for the four stars instead of five. In a nut shell, their terms of service/contract favor their bottle line too much. Number one was they wouldn't allow for pro-rating if your plans change. If you pay for a month and only use it for three days, you won't get any money back. You have to pay for the entire next month on the due date, even if you only need it for one more week. Number two is you don't receive a bill or payment reminder automatically. If you forget, you will have late fees.

Obviously they are under the impression that this is helping their bottom line. They may even have numbers that "prove it". But the true bottom line is this has been the source of most of their negative reviews on line. We live in an upwardly interconnected society. And that is a great thing! Most people today read Google reviews when making buying decisions. If you send off a bunch of customers who feel like they paid too much, it will drive away customers. Bad reviews happen, and most take them with a grain of salt. But if they can sympathize with the writer, they will take it seriously. I absolutely love this place. Sounds weird, right? Why would you "love" a storage unit facility? I'll tell you why: since I first began renting here, Glenn and Frank have never forgotten me. I travel a lot for work and only show up every couple months or so. They're always quick to ask how my travels are going or how I've been or where I'm at now. They have hundreds of customers, how on earth do they remember me?! That's what I always ask myself. The customer service is just impeccable. They're always warm, friendly, and have time to answer any and all questions. I even recently reserved a larger unit, showed up the next day, and within 5 mins, was good to start moving my stuff down the hall. Efficiency goes a long way with me and these guys got it down! The facilities are always clean, well kept, and secure. I even inquired about downsizing in the near future and Frank took the time to show me a smaller unit just so I could get a proper visual on whether it would meet my needs or not. They even have a nice moving can to use at such an affordable rate (an option I took advantage of once, which made moving way less stressful and streamlined). I had to move out in a hurry from my old place right up the street from this life storage location on McMullen booth road so I walked in and was helped right away by the two men working . One of them helped Me the best he could with what was available , I had to get a small storage unit because none of the Larger ones was available but I'm glad I didn't get a larger one because I did not need it . I fit everything I needed into my storage unit with no issues at all . My stay was only a month and a few days , todays the day I move all my things into my new home I hope I get a refund for the weeks I had not used but I highly doubt I'll have any issues with that either as the workers here are very on point and willing to help the best way they can . I also had to have my lock cut due to losing my lock key but with one phone call I told the worker I was unable to make it in personally because I was too far and not mobile he then asked Me a few security questions and was able to email me a form to have my lock cut so that the movers can get in there and move my things out for a small fee of 25$ .
