Christi's — Local services in Cleburne

I’ve been shopping here at least every two weeks for a couple of years. Last night, I was treated in the most hateful way I have experienced in any store in all of my life. First, I needed help to get a pair of shorts down hanging from the top of the wall and the young girl did not want to get them down. She said “I can tell you now, there will not be a size that you need.”

Second is the worst. I had my young daughter with me and I was holding clothes and her bottle of water. The water spilt and the two girls just stood there. I apologized continuously and one girl walked in the back of the store. I stood there and waited 5 minutes for her to return and the other girl went back to the cash register. I said I would help clean it up. I walked back to a dressing room to put the clothes up, took out the clothes I wanted to buy and walked to the cash register. In the most hateful way possible that I have been treated they both were up there giving me paper towels and telling me, a grown woman to clean it up. I was shocked by the hatefulness. I was going to help clean it up but they said I spilled it, that it spilled by an expensive rack of clothes, I could be responsible. I cleaned it up, and then one girl said to the other one…”the floor is still wet”. She stopped in the middle of ringing at least 300 worth of clothes and said “you need to clean it up more”. Went to your store in cleburne for the first time and the lady that helped me on 5/24/2025 was rude. I came to town for my birthday and everyone said I need to come to your store for your 3 for 27 t-shirts. The store was nice and had a lot of stuff and a big selection of t-shirts I first asked the girl if all the boxes that had t-shirts in them had my size? She told me she wasn’t sure. I asked if I could go through them to see and she explained they were from one of the stores that closed and most likely didn’t have my size. I continued trying to find my 3 shirts and settled with my selection and went to check out. Same lady checked me out and gave me my total it was 10 dollars more than what the sign said. I asked why she said our shirts are more for a 2x. I said that isn’t what your sign said and she then very rude said well that sign is old. Hmm what she didn’t know is my mom checked out right before me and it was 27 for her three shirts. So, my mom said you’re advertising a price and you charge her more that’s not right. She did a smart axx laugh and said well we will work on changing the sign. Laughing with the lady behind us. In that moment I wanted to get my money back and spend it else where. If I didn’t have my one year old with me I would have. First and last experience. What a way to start...

I was so happy to finally go to a sale on a Saturday. Got there early, line wasn’t long. Christi and Hailey got there about 5 minutes before opening. Got in found a few things as did my 2 daughters. Checkout wasn’t bad but the attitude of Christi was not good. She rolled her eyes after every customer, when asked a question she had a sour tone to her voice. A man got there to get another payment machine going, but at that point the big rush was almost over as she stated to him.
