I took 2 of my kids aged 16 and 12 with me as a girls day event. I got a pedicure and my girls got manicures. My 16 year old got SNS, and they turned out great. No bubbles or bumps. They were the length she wanted and the shape. (Ask for Brian! He's super nice and has a gentle personality.) As I type, he is adding a design to her nails that was a bit of an extra charge, but totally worth it. I got a fantastic pedicure that included a massage and wax and so much more. It was lovely. I work retail, so it was especially nice to have the treatment. My 12 year old was super happy with her nails as well. We got simple paint for now. In the future, we will advance to gel...but she's not quite ready for that yet. Overall, my girls and I were happy, so we will be back...l hope to bring others with me as well. It would make a great date day event. They don't just do girls nails! They do guys as well... and it's nice.
Update: we went back. My 16 year old got black sparkling SNS with tips. My 12 year old got beautiful sparkle gel nails, and I opted for another pedicure. Kelly was great with the black SNS. Again, there were no bumps or bubbles. My child did smudge one before we left and I appreciated that they fixed it before we left. She was nearly in tears, and they were so patient with her. John was super nice as he worked on my 12 year olds nails. We were making faces at each other, he noticed, and asked friendly questions. He let my child chat and chat to him.
Then I get to the pedicure. Lee (female) was the person who was assigned to me. Oh my goodness. I asked for a little bit of a bigger package than I asked for last time. Nothing extreme, just a bit more. I’ll admit that I had temporary panic during the pedicure that I picked a super expensive package accidentally…there were lotions and relaxing things that weren’t included in the description…it was absolutely amazing. I was charged exactly what I originally expected. Lee is absolutely a skilled professional. Usually, parts of pedicures are a bit painful. 100% of my entire experience was pure relaxation. I am trying to find words to explain how much I recommend getting a pedicure with Lee. Ask for her when you go in. Definitely recommend Lee! Overall, seeing the joy on my kids faces was just perfect. We will be back again. It was a great bonding moment with my moody teen...
Read moreMy new favorite nail place. Now I don't have to drive over an hr to get them done.
Edit. 3/29/24 SNS used to be my favorite nail place and I had been going here loyalty for five years. I just left the nail shop and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I showed up at 4:30 PM. I proceeded to tell them I was there to get a gel pedicure and an SNS manicure. They had me sit down and start soaking my feet and proceeded to not do any kind of service for 45 minutes. It wasn’t until the woman sitting next to me had to speak up and say that I was here before her and another lady but they had gotten their services done. What’s going on? Is she getting her nails done Next ? After she spoke up to the nail techs someone finally started doing my pedicure. My pedicure was great, No issues to complain of. The bad experience started once the male nail technician that sits in number 15 started doing my nails . First thing he did as soon as I sat down, was proceeded to ask why would I come this late? (It was now 6:45pm) And that I should’ve come earlier. I proceeded to tell him I showed up at 4:30pm and you guys did not perform any services for 45 min. He started to do my nails while he kept reiterating that he didn’t want to be there and wanted to go home under his breath. Honestly, it was just a bad experience. The customer service was not what I was used to and he didn’t even do the services that I wanted and dozed off while he had the nail drill on my nails! I ended up just saying yes to everything because I needed to get something done to my nails And wanted to get out of there as fast as I could . I understand that he was tired , but if the policy is you have to start by a certain time then you need to advise the guest when they come not have them sit in the water because it traps them until the service starts . It sucks to have to change my rating from a five star to a one star and find another nail shop but hopefully this is...
Read moreI have struggled with whether or not to write this review, but if it means things can improve, then it’s for the best. I have gotten my nails done here plenty of times the last few years and they usually do a great job on my nails when I can be seen. What this establishment does not do well is communicate about wait times for getting a service, especially if you are a walk-in. You’re better off making an appointment if you wanna get your nails done here. Walking in isn’t your best bet on super busy days and times (like weekends and proms) and on days they’re understaffed. I had to walk out of the place after an hour of waiting the last time I tried to get my nails done before a work trip (a few weeks ago now and on a Friday night). This was also the second time I walked out of this salon after waiting an hour or so to be seen. I understand wanting to honor appointments and not rush peoples nails either especially if they get more complicated services done and agree these should absolutely be done, but please be realistic and honest if your staff cannot see a customer within an hour. I would have been more than understanding and come back a little later if I was told the wait would be long upon arrival. I just didn’t appreciate having my time wasted and being asked to wait a little longer right when I was walking out…that little bit longer could have been another hour for all I knew especially since I got told it would be a little bit longer 45 minutes earlier. Just don’t lie to your customers about when they’ll be seen. Please just do a better job communicating wait times to your customers, especially the walk-ins. If I do give you another chance (still trying to decide if I want to after this second time of waiting a while), I’ll definitely make an appointment going forward, but won’t be doing...
