I’m usually not one to write reviews and I’m definitely not one to post anything negative about something. However, I just had a very poor experience going through the drive-tru at the Dario’s in Clemmons. It’s disheartening because I love Dario’s, and I understand everyone has bad days, but I’m feeling differently about going back now.
I went to get food and it was a busy time, and on top of that they are redoing the drive-thru so it’s a little more chaotic than usual, but I understand that. I had pulled up to the first window to pay, and the gentleman asked if I could pull forward to the right and wait for my food. I asked him if he meant all the way down to the front, to which he replied, yes. So I pulled out of line and went to the right and pulled next to the car that was waiting. After about a minute, a guy wearing glasses approached me and said I was in the way and kind of blocking people. He was trying to redirect me to get out of the drive-through, go around the parking lot , and hop back in line but I was very confused and did not know where he was meaning for me to get back in line. As I tried to get clarification, he was very rude, and not understanding at all, and kept acting like talking to me was an inconvenience. I let it blow past because I know it’s a busy time, I was clearly in the way, and I did not mind getting out of line and getting back in to let people by. After receiving little to no help from him, I finally figured out where I was supposed to re-enter the line. Shortly after sitting there, another gentleman brought me my food, and I pulled down to the pedestrian crossing to allow multiple pedestrians with children to cross. I looked back in my rearview, naturally, to make sure I wasn’t blocking anyone and the guy who approached me and asked me to move, looked at my car, pointed at my car and then threw his hands up. The guy next to him was the gentleman who actually brought me my food, he looked at my car and then turned back to him and I’m assuming corrected him. Needless to say, I was very confused where I was supposed to go, and instead of being helpful and guiding me through the process, he was very arrogant and rude. And then, when he thought I did not listen to his “directions”, he got frustrated. Like I said, I understand that people have bad days and they were super busy, but I should have never been talked to the way that, that kid with the glasses talked to me. And if talking with respect is hard for you, than you should not be in direct contact...
Read moreIt is with great sadness to know that my local Dario is not the great restaurant as I remembered in my youth. the poor quality of service and the amount of misguidance and misdirection. I live in the general area. My name is Hennery Scott. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, I like to treat myself to some takeout food. I could do it a thousand times now. After a long day of work getting a quick dinner is nice and simple. Then I get a shake which I Finnish in 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine for the day. I like to think that I am in good hands when in the presence of Dairi-o's employees but that has been proven false. There is an idea of a Hennery Scott. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there. To the Caucasian employee with dark long hair that stands around 5'8 with a studded beard, and brown eyes. you have mislead me in that labyrinth of sounds and smells of misdirection and misfortune a maze with no prize. Be still and give up your soul, it doesn't belong to you. just like the cheese on my cheese burger I ordered from you. I want future customers to be aware of this trap and stay clear of the clamps of this evil empire of swindling. Be careful of what you wish for from these demons that greet you with a false sense of hope and happiness. Dairi-o has deprived me of cheese so I will deprive them of the lust that drives them in endless circles of greed. I want nothing but the Seven days of darkness to be upon this establishment. to the employees trapped in the corridors, stay still a give up your souls it doesn't belong to you. This ends for all of us, End...
Read moredue to the holidays my family and I have been super busy, therefore it’s been easiest for us just to eat out. My family loves dairio so we find any excuse to go and eat there. It has a good environment, friendly servers, it doesn’t even feel like a fast food place, and even though it is always busy they keep a good pace. Service can be good and bad but recently I have been super impressed and felt the need to give a review. I recently came Friday night and Sunday morning and had great service both times and the staff always feels like family when we communicate with them. The cashiers were patient for the most part except for a few times throughout the whole orders but all of our food ended up correct so that’s all that matters. The restaurant was clean and I didn’t have to wait long for my food even though it was crowded. The food was delicious and the hot dogs remain my favorite. It’s always cooked fresh and hot! The sweet tea here is my absolute favorite. The ice cream is definitely the best part though. I have a larger family so it’s easy for servers to get quickly annoyed with our indecisiveness, but not in this case. We had the same server both times and she remained patient, energetic, and was very sweet to our kids, she also helped guide us through the different flavors until we found the ones we wanted. These experiences were definitely the best ones we’ve had with any server at this restaurant because from past experiences they’ve gotten super annoyed with us and made it clear. Her behavior was impressive for a teenager and it’s clear that the employees all have good relationships with one another and i think that’s why this store is run so well. Dairio continues to be my families favorite restaurant and we will continue...
