I want to start by saying I have been a server for about any kind of food you can imagine, in many states. I thought I had known where to get the best italian food anywhere, tonight I was, to my surprise, proven wrong! Mediterraneo pizza and grill is by far the best italian ANYWHERE! Let me start with the salad that comes with the entrees. It's a very simple classic caesar salad, that is has a wonderful caesar dressing. We shared a couple entrees. The lobster ravioli is to die for! Perfectly cooked ravioli with large pieces of lobster inside, in a pink crab sauce that has lots of real crab in it that you do not have to search for! The stuffed shells we substituted and got alfredo sauce instead of marinara and it was not a mistake. Again the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. Big shells filled full with rich ricotta and spinach and baked with mozzarella and the most amazing homemade alfredo on the planet! The homemade bread that comes with the meals is next level and comes with an awesome homemade oil for dipping, that is if you can resist running it through your pasta sauces! They have a kids menu which is great bc my daughter is very picky. Angel hair with butter was perfect for her. And lastly, the best part, the desserts! The nutella cake(which is gluten free if you need that, we dont but we like it) was very light and fluffy we with a vanilla cake and nutella/coffee icing! The lemoncello cake is out of this world! A lemon sponge cake with a very airy lemoncello icing with shaved white chocolate on top! The best I've ever had! And the cannoli, it is perfection! Not too sweet as some can be, the shell was not too hard as some can be and it had the perfect amount of chocolate chips and chocolate sauce as well! If you have not tried this place please take the chance and do so! I promise you will not regret it! The quality of this place is well worth the money! I am very surprised that this place is not a...
Read moreOrdered takeout Sunday night, Sept.13, 2020 around 7pm for total of $30.85. I could barely hear via telephone because their phone kept messing up. I had to go in to order, which I did NOT want to do. We should've kept looking around for restaurants, but we were curious... We ordered chicken caesar wrap, french fries and ranch dip, sorrento brick oven pizza, and 2 baklavas. It didn't take too long to receive our order. This was an expensive meal, but we were excited about trying this restaurant. They were out of caesar dressing for my wrap, didn't have the hot chips I wanted, but still...we gave them the benefit of the doubt. (We shouldn't have). We get our food, and could not believe how light weight all of this stuff was! For the price, we were appalled and knew it would not be enough to feed 2 adults and 2 very small children, but it was getting late, so we figured we'd just get the little ones a sandwich from a quick drive-thru despite all of the money we'd JUST spent on this takeout. So, I try the wrap first. I had agreed to sub ranch for caesar because I like both dressings equally. The wrap was disgustingly soggy, bland, and full of slimey hot lettuce. Gross! I couldn't even taste or see any cheese. All I saw and tasted on this skimpish wrap was weird lettuce with bland chicken and a ton of ranch pouring out. Plus they didn't give us any napkins. TeRrIbLe hot mess. (Where's Gordon Ramsay people?) The fries were ok ( kinda dry and bland as well though considering they were made in-house), and my hubby said his pizza was good, but small. (Not sure why pizza not recommended for take out (see menu)). The baklava had a very strong and awkward lavender taste that lingered like perfume or something (hard to explain). What a waste of money and time. Money is tight, and our time is even tighter. ...
Read moreI have never been to a restaurant where the waiter was so rude before. Walking in there was only 2 other tables, we had never been there before so we were unsure if we were to seat ourselves, the waiter walked by and looked at us but didn’t say anything, when he walked by the second time I asked if it was seat yourself he didn’t respond so I asked again.. then rudely he said “no, I’ll get to you in a second” and walked away again. Then came to seat us and asked if we wanted a table or a booth we said booth and he annoyingly announced that he needed to clean it. A girl at one of the other tables asked about her drink and he snapped at her about how us coming in disrupted him making it then walked away still not getting her drink. The other table left him a tip he was apparently not happy about and before they even walked out he made a comment about them not knowing how to tip and then went in the back and complained loud enough to the other employees for everyone to hear. Other people walking in had the same confusion of siting, not being greeted, rudeness and him having to clean table. 2 girls walked out without ordering in fact. I asked for some salt and he replied rudely again about having to tend to other tables. He seemed highly annoyed to be there and like everything you asked for was a burden. Towards the end another server came in along with a table who seem to know the people working there, the suddenly his entire demeanor changed and the rest of the time wasn’t bad. On the plus side... food...
