Yesterday afternoon, my friends and I had a deeply disappointing encounter at Michaels. While leisurely browsing the store, a blonde lady wearing pink glasses, who we assumed was an employee, accused one of my friends of shoplifting without any evidence or justification. This distressing incident occurred between 4:39 PM and 4:44 PM on Saturday, July 6th. At the time, we were simply admiring the potion bottles and flower displays.The accusation was not only baseless but delivered in a rude and accusatory manner that left us feeling humiliated and offended. Specifically, she approached my friend and asked, "Did you put what you had in your hand up?" It was entirely unwarranted. It is disheartening that Michaels would tolerate such behavior from its staff. This unwarranted accusation not only marred what should have been an enjoyable shopping outing but also left us feeling deeply disrespected and unfairly treated as customers. Read moreI placed a custom frame order with them but they discontinued the frame AFTER I paid and got in on the 70% sale price. When I came back in to select another frame, they were not going to honor my original sale price until I made quite a fuss and they ended calling their headquarter office in California. If I had not complained, I would have had to pay another $300! RIDICULOUS. The frame job was supposed to be done within a week; three weeks later AFTER I CALLED to inquire, they had it ready but were waiting on another customer to pick it up. When I went to pick up my framed project, two of the four corners were badly scratched and they tried to cover it up with a stain stick (which stilled showed on the surface). Again, I will have to wait for them to fix this now. I have made four trips to Michaels--and still no framed project! Really, Michael's? This is what you people do--framing! Read moreI ordered something online and decided to pick it up after work as I was very excited about starting my new hobby. I saw that curbside was offered. I clicked the link "on my way". About 10 minutes after I clicked the link I got a text message saying I had pick up my order. So, I go in to let them know I didn't pick it up. The employee I met coming in told me "we can't leave that on the system more than 30 minutes". When I responded, "I work less than 10 minutes away". The employee shrugged his shoulders. I took it as he didn't care as long as long as it showed that it was picked up before the 30 minutes. I believe they didn't want to bring it out so, they put it as picked up. I couldn't let them know iw I was outside because I was already at the "picked up" status. I don't usually write reviews but this really upset me. What has happened to...
