Over the course of the past year my family and I have visited the Cleveland location several times (because kids beg for ice cream) and have been more disappointed with each visit. The last visit: the table we sat at was filthy. We had to clean a table ourselves to have a clear table to sit at. The bench seats were covered in several layers of gross that takes a lot of neglect to reach that level of gross. The food was not good and barely edible. Then we got blizzards..... and as usual the toppings were only in the top portion of the cup and the lower 50% of the cup was pure vanilla icecream. And, when it was brought to us I could see that my blizzard was melting and had liquid in the top. The staffs member offered to turn it upside down and I almost panicked because it would have poured all over me. I quickly took the cup before she turned it. The restrooms were dirty too. At this point I will not be back to this location again. Recommendation to the owner: if you can’t find good management to run your store then run it yourself. Our visit was on a Sunday around 1pm. The only reason we went there was because every other restaurant in the area was over packed with people to the point that we couldn’t get in. Dairy Queen was the only restaurant in the area that wasn’t full of customers. That’s always a sign of what to expect. The only reason we stayed was because the kids were crying hungry. When a restaurant has very few customers during a time that all others are over crowded that is a...
Read moreI ordered a cake about a week ago. It was a special order, all chocolate ice cream. I went to pick it up today and after standing around waiting the server, whom I found out later was also the manager, he came back and asked questions about my order. This tells me they cannot find it. I inform them I know it was made because this past Sunday, for my birthday,, my husband ordered a blizzard cake under our last name. They brought out the cake I had ordered to give to him. Of course we found this funny, if only I had realized I should have checked on the order. After the server/manager made a call he found it in the display freezer where anyone could have picked it up! I asked why was it there? He said it wasn't picked up when it was scheduled to. I explained that I did tell the person I was picking it up today. He apologized and said the person who took my order probably put the wrong date down. I asked why did I not receive a call before it was put in the display case? He just apologized again. I order a cake from here at least once a month for the company I work for. I would have expected a little more than an empty apology. I called to speak to the manager, same guy. Just another apology! I can understand mistakes in dates but the fact I was not contacted before they tried to sell my cake to the public is what angers my so much! If we had another Dairy Queen in this area to get cakes from I would never step foot into that...
Read moreWe ordered 2 #13's, a banana split and a medium cotton candy blizzard. The girl only rang up one of the meals. Irritating but fixable. We told her to make our desserts after we ate. Chili cheese dogs were good and the fries were fresh. My boyfriend goes up to the girl and tells her we were ready for our dessert. 15 minutes later he asks her again 30 minutes later still no dessert he goes up again and this time gets the attention of another girl (she was pulled from drive thru to help the girl on front counter). He shows his receipt to the girl and she says ok banana split and what size blizzard? He says medium. She comes back almost immediately with the items. The banana split looked like it was thrown together and looked horrible. All the toppings were in the middle and the banana looked like it was put in as an afterthought. The blizzard started out ok. Cotton candy pieces were mixed well. Then when I got past the top layer of the blizzard, there was zero cotton candy pieces. Basically I got a vanilla ice cream with cotton candy pieces on the very top. Totally ridiculous and I feel like I got ripped off. I am very angry/upset. A happy customer will come back; a dissatisfied customer will tell everyone about their bad experience. I do restaurant reviews on Facebook, so yes this review is on...
