Had a friend just leave from there with out a purchase. She is an at home nurse and had a "female emergency" come up while she was driving to her next patient. When this issue comes up its not just your run of the mill stain, its pretty bad, to the point she can not sit with out worry of messing up furniture. She stopped in at Burke's to get a replacement pair of scrubs and had to leave empty handed. All she had on her was a 100.00 and the pants were 25.00 the cashier would not break her hundred and so my friend was forced to just leave with out making any purchase. I guess 25.00 wasn't enough for her to call the manager over. My friend shops at the Athens location religiously. Love going to this place . Can find about anything here . However this particular trip was surprising to say the least . It was on a Fri night there hours are from 9 am till 9:30 pm . We go in somewhere around 8:20 pm. I had a few things picked out I wanted to purchase. At about 8:50 they announce over the store intercom that the registers would be closed for the next 30 minutes for cleaning no purchases could be made . 😮 WoW 😳 the store closes at 9:30 pm and there actually closing there registers 45 minutes early for cleaning. Might as well closed the the store at 9:00 pm if you ask me . Seems to me if you are gonna clean the registers in this manner you should wait till the store...

First I ever heard of this place, not sure if they have any stores on the west coast. Sort of like a TJ Max. Prices a little higher then ROSS but it kind of reminded me a little of a DD Discounts not a lot of product. Could definitely have more of a selection. They did have some cute stuff in the home decor area but good luck trying to find two of anything....
