I was pleasantly surprised with the enormous space because I envisioned a craft store to be extremely small with merchandise crammed everywhere...Not even close! I was also amazed at the inventory Hobby Lobby carries... Antique furniture, Extremely large beautiful clocks, Kitchen and Bath accessories, Clothing and Hats, and what I actually needed, stick-on letters and numbers and Wow, they had every size, color, and design, literally 2 aisles of nothing but letters and numbers. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find the # symbol but I will make do. My "Happy Place" has always been Home Depot because my Left-brain enjoys building things, not decorating them but I may have to rethink that. Hmmm. Customer Service was absolutely amazing, very polite and helpful employees who were always willing to answer any question I asked...And not laugh in my face when I had no idea what I was talking about. The only reason I gave Hobby Lobby 4 out of 5 stars is because I found some of the merchandise a bit costly but other than that, I will absolutely be back when I need to decorate...
Read moreOne of my favorite stores ever. However this one, on my last visit missed some of the sale signs. I specifically had things in my cart because I read the signs. They sent an employee to check on the signs. A few minutes later had me go check to see that they were not there and told me I was mistaken. And im guessing the employee who went to check before me had taken the signs down. She even said if you could please show me, then I'll give you the discount. Grinning the whole time, acting as if I were crazy. But they told me I was thinking of last weeks sale. I hadn't been there the last week. So I know I read the sign that day and even explained this. For a Christian organization, they sure do have some corrupt employees. Considering it only saved them a few bucks. But cost them a long time customer. Oh, and they've discontinued their 40% off 1 item coupon, in case you...
Read moreHorrible experience with the cashier yesterday. My cashier wanted me to buy the leftover 4th of July decorations and I politely told her that I did not want them, that’s not what I went to purchase and she got extremely angry and aggressive with me. I’ve never been treated like that before, I’m extremely disappointed and appalled. I just bought a ton of 4th of July decorations a month ago from here and I told her that, but she absolutely insisted on me buying this stuff now. She would not let it go, I’ve never felt so uncomfortable, even after I went silent she still kept saying I needed to buy this stuff. I’ve shopped here my whole life. No one stepped in or said anything about her behavior either. I guess she was making money off of forcing customers to buy decorations from past holidays. It was an extremely unpleasant situation and if it happens again I will...
