I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the treatment I received during my first visit to the Cleveland Clinic. My experience with your police staff and phone operator left me feeling threatened and disrespected, which is deeply troubling for an institution of your caliber.

As this was my first visit, I was unaware that I had parked in an employee parking area. When I sought assistance, the individual who answered the phone was abrasive, condescending, and unprofessional. She made a dismissive comment, saying, “You should have known where you were,” which was not only unhelpful but also triggering during an already stressful situation.

Needing the assistance of the police and their aggressive demeanor further escalated my distress. I expected understanding and guidance, not hostility. Experiences like this can deeply affect individuals and discourage them from seeking help in emergencies.

I believe everyone deserves respect, especially in a healthcare environment where compassion should be a cornerstone of service. I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement measures to ensure visitors are treated with kindness and respect.

The construction in this area is absolute garbage. Not e eryone has 14 dollars for an hour of valet parking. The parking garage was a pain in the butt to find and get into. We drove 3 and a half hours to go to the clinic and we got there early and was still late because trying to find the parking garage took 45 minutes to find and get into.
