Noticed this place while I was driving home this morning and stopped by on a whim; turns out it was their first day open! Dining room is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Drink menu is extensive; there's something here for everyone, especially where coffee is concerned. The barista truly knows what she's doing and makes an excellent latte; I had both the churro latte and the dulce de leche latte and both were fantastic. Ordered the Cafecito Breakfast with Picanha (think steak and eggs, basically) and it was outstanding; the flavor on the steak is exactly where you want it to be for picanha and the eggs were cooked perfectly. With the beans, crema, and fried plantains, it all came together perfectly. After breakfast, I got their flan and it, too, was utter perfection. Perfect cap on my breakfast.
Great experience overall, super friendly staff, and superb food. This is what I've been missing in Cleveland and I will definitely be going...
Read moreExcellent alternative cafe in the area.
The food is great and varied, there is always seating for working remotely, and the coffee is ok.
It’s in an awkward spot between retail spots so it looks like a mistake to have food in an otherwise business complex - don’t let the location fool you - it’s worth the trip.
Price wise it’s not a cheap spot with a breakfast bowl costing 15$ and dinner costing 15-20$, but the food quality is excellent and add to that a great spot to remote working it’s worth checking out :)
In terms of coffee culture - If i was looking for the perfect weighted and measured cortado with local roasting and a rotation schedule of espresso — this is not that place. However if I wanted a decent latte or iced flavored coffee drink it’s better than the drive through options around town and has a lot of seating.
My only real bit is that it’s warmer than I’d like - generally I prefer it on the chilly side not slightly warm but just my...
Read moreI stumbled into Un Cafecito looking for coffee and winded up getting the Huevos Rancheros with Picanha. For my folks that No Espanol it is perfectly cooked to order eggs topped with a delicious savory red sauce (not spicy), served with black bean puree, fresh fried plantains (not too soft or sweat), a couple pieces of Queso Fresca (kinda like a mild Mozzarella), and a side of delicious Crème (Guatemalan Sour Cream) I was delighted by the fresh in house made Bread. The Picanha is a Brazilian style steak grilled to perfection (I got mine Medium Rare). I also added avocado slices on the side. Wildly delicious. This will be one of my top choices for food moving forward. The menu has breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Let’s not forget the massive coffee menu available. Do yourself a huge favor and come try this place out. You will not be disappointed. Pro tip from the owner David: he suggests you put the black bean puree on the plantains and dip it...
