Target needs to change its procedures towards dealing with sick people. I became very ill while shopping in their pharmacy area on Friday, December 21st, 2012. I experienced dizziness and extreme nausea. I knew I was unable to make it to the restroom and asked for a shopping bag to vomit into. They complied. I found a bench located on the back wall of the pharmacy and began vomiting quietly and as discretely as possible. My cousin was there with me and began purchasing various items from the pharmacy in an effort to help me. I did not attempt going to the restroom since it was far away and any movement brought about abrupt and repeated vomiting and would have certainly been more damaging to the shopping experiences of others and the store's maintenance staff's workday. We sat on the bench for maybe 30 minutes while we waited for other family members to come help. During this time, store employees came and informed me that people had complained that I was sick. Then they placed a tri-fold partition that was about 4 feet tall around me. I was very shocked that anyone would complain about a person being sick (not throwing up in the floor or making a scene at all) and aghast by the fact that the employees put a wall around me. I was too sick to protest much but did tell them that I was offended by this. They suggested an ambulance (which I didn't need) and sited the complaints. Then they suggested that I go to a bathroom inside an area nearby (this area had a sign that read "staff only" and I was previously unaware of the bathroom located inside. Once inside the area, I found there was no place to sit . I simply squatted near the toilet and waited until my aunt who is a nurse came with perscription strength anti-nausea medication. We then left the building. I continued vomiting for a long while and was probably the sickest I have ever been in my life. I was shocked, hurt, and very dissapointed in the way the store personnel had handled the situation. All we had asked for was a couple of shopping bags and a little patience. My cousin purchased items there. The partition felt like a wall of shame. I am posting this review with the hope that someone who can change their procedures will read this and do so as soon as possible. I don't want anyone else to be treated like that. All people, especially sick people, should be treated with dignity...
Read moreBased on today, I would not recommend that Target store; I don't know about other Targets in the area. I was highly disappointed with the service, or lack thereof. I came in to purchase cold medicine, and picked up an additional toy for my one-year-old. I noticed that the store had the Nintendo Switch and other accessories available to buy for my thirteen-year-old's upcoming birthday. I walked through the entire Electronics and Toy Section to find a store worker, and I could not find anyone to help me purchase these items. I picked up the phone expecting the option to get a team member to come over, but the phone just rang and rang without anyone picking up the phone. Just to make sure that the phone wasn't broken, I walked down and used the phone near the sporting goods. However, the same thing happened, the phone rang and rang and no one picked up the phone. Thus, I had to leave without buying a Switch, accessories, and games for my son. I am glad that Target is no longer in a position to need the money from big purchases like this; Best Buy, however, was very grateful. I give the store a score of three instead of two as a result that the cat keyboard I purchased was less than the label price, though I suspect that is more due to store negligence than anything because the last four times I have bought something at Target, all of those times the price for the item was not correct to the label. Still, back to the point, if I wanted to wander a store looking in vain for help, especially when I want to spend my money there, I would just...
Read moreI pay for a Target 360 membership each month, which is where you can have your order delivered. I have waited over 5 hours so I called the store & explain that it’s not showing my order has even been picked let alone delivered. The employee looks up my order number & says it has been picked it just hasn’t been picked up for delivery & she doesn’t know who does the pickups, I explain I pay for Target 360 thru Shipt & they’re supposed to be who delivers. So then I call the Target 800 # explain same as above & also get a message my delivery will be delivered later. I’ve used my 360 membership before & whomever shopped your ordered products also delivers them. I received that order within an hour & im thinking it was sooner than that. This experience tho, No, Why in the world would someone want to pay a membership fee & when you order things you need & expect to be delivered in 2 hours at the least, Why pay for a service that by the time your going to recieve your order you could’ve drove there & back yourself. Target has always had the best customer service & help with any issues but the employee at the 800 # stated they now don’t have enough Target 360 Shipt shoppers so PEOPLE JUST KNOW, NOT ONLY DID THEY CUT COSTCO OUT ON THE STORES YOU CAN ORDER FROM BUT BE AWARE THAT THE MEMBERSHIP YOU ARE PAYING FOR NOW DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES FOR YOU TO RECIEVE YOUR DELIVERY, SAME DAY...
