I recently visited Sephora inside Kohl's to get help finding the right foundation shade. I even paid for an Uber to get there, expecting assistance so I could buy the right product for my skin tone. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the lack of customer service.
When I asked for help, the employees seemed uninterested and told me to "choose whatever shades I thought would work" and come back if I needed a sample. My whole reason for going there was to get expert advice on choosing the best shade, yet not one employee was willing to help.
One employee even directly said "no" when I asked for assistance, and after that, I noticed them whispering to each other rather than helping customers. I’m particular about picking the right shade because I want to feel confident in my purchase, especially when makeup can be so expensive. If one of them had simply helped me, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
If you already know exactly what you want, this Sephora location might work for you. But if you need any assistance or advice, I'd recommend going elsewhere. It’s hard to understand why they’re working there if they’re not willing to help customers or treat them respectfully.

She’s growing into a teenager herself and I wanted to do my best in making sure she gets the products necessary for a teenage daughter growing up in the US. Thankfully two wonderful and knowledgeable women whose names were Alexa and Steph were able to make sure I found everything I was looking for and more! Thanks to their guidance, this father was able to make his teenage daughter happy and excited for the days to come with her now new products. Make sure to go to Steph and Alexa next time you need quick reliable and informative assistance! My younger sister was here the other day getting pressured into signing up for something she did not want to. Rewards program likely and I get it, I use to work in beauty retail. But for her to throw my sister’s items into the bag and give her a stank face after check out because she declined the offer (my little sister is really shy she was very uncomfortable after being treated like this) which I saw with my own eyes. You should never pressure people into getting sign ups in such a rude way, making sure you have a returning customers should be priority.
This place is also terribly merchandized and disorganized. Terrible look for Sephora brand obviously not spending money...
