I've lived here for a while. Management changes ALL the time. When we first moved in, they were awesome, but the last manager was really unpleasant and constantly looking for a problem (example, putting stickers on our car saying that we were going to be towed for expired registration.... before the registration had even expired... and the sticker residue couldn't be removed without heavy duty cleaning product...), reminding us during every inspection that we weren't allowed to have animals unless they were approved (they're approved, the office already has pictures and doctors notes for them), and totally unwilling to accept any form of criticism; just extremely self-righteous. I haven't gotten to meet the new manager, yet, aside from our last inspection; she seemed nice. It feels like way more kids have moved in lately, though, and they're extremely loud most of the time. I don't think quiet hours extend far enough into the morning or start soon enough. The walls must be thin, because I can hear my upstairs and downstairs neighbors having conversation all day. It's not the best place to work from home, I can't hear myself think half the day. One day I'll go somewhere I can feel a little more privacy, maybe with a view of something other than the side of the next apartment building. DROPPING IT TO ONE STAR: they came a month later than they said they were coming for inspections, told me they'd be back the next day for repairs and to paint my bathroom. When they didn't come back, I asked the office who had no idea what I was talking about and said they'd only be coming back to change light bulbs and she couldn't tell me when that was going to happen. Inspections were supposed to happen early to mid-October and they didn't even start them until November. They did not give notice that it would be later. They never give notice before they show up at your door expecting to come in. I've never had an apartment complex so disrespectful. Last month they were supposed to replace our light bulbs. They showed up today, 12/14, unannounced as always and we ended up having to turn them away. No telling when they'll be back, though we asked if it could be tomorrow.
EDIT: the newest manager is lovely, helpful, and communicative, and she's lasted here longer than they usually do. I hope she...
Read moreI’m not one to do a review. I actually have only done one other one. But this time it’s deserved. Mikayla, Armando and Juan have been the best thing since memo was here. Before Mikayla things here were all over the place. The only time this place ran this well. Was when I first moved here 5 years ago. I don’t remember the managers name. After that it was a rough go here. I would tell my self every day. It’s affordable and you’re single don’t complain. But this last year has been very different. Mikayla is very responsive with any questions and very knowledgeable. She’s been a great addition to the staff here. With her here I have recommended this place to anyone interested in an apartment. I know she’s helped with retention here. I talk with my neighbors and we all agree she is the same with everyone. Sweet, caring, understanding, knowledgeable she deserves a raise. She’s beyond helpful and caring to everyone. If she does leave I hope we get someone with just as much care and respect...
Read moreI’m currently living here and gave the office a 60 day move out notice. They only require a 30 day notice. It was about 45 days until my move out day, when I asked to extend my lease for 5 days as my new place would not be ready in time. I was told I would have to pay for the entire month up front in order to stay in my apartment for an extra week. I asked if there was a prorated option and was told that if someone rented the apartment before the end of the month I would get a refund, but it’s not likely. Soo my two options at this point are to pay $1200 for 5 days OR me and my 3 children will be homeless for a week!!! Guess we’re hoteling it 🙄 Which also means the added expense of securing a storage unit for 5 whole days and scheduling 2 moving days instead of 1. Pretty awful way to treat a good tenant. Glad we’re moving out. Just a bunch of money hungry apples with absolutely...
