G.O.A.T. Haircuts — Local services in Clinton

My sister worked at this location for about 6 months, and it was one of the worst places she has ever worked at. My sister is the kindest person I have ever known. It hurts me to see my sister come home to bullying at work from adult women who should know better. Almost all the coworkers there are all part of a friend group who will all attack one individual if any of them wants to. They will give all the worst shifts to those people who are not part of the friend group. Recently my sister had already put in her two weeks so she can move on with her life and one shift manager falsely accused her of stealing client information, despite the fact that the clients willingly requested her information for personal reasons, which was entirely appropriate. Then another shift manager who was her friend proceeded to call one of her clients who is a police officer to “come escort my sister out of the building” when my sister was already on her way out so the police officer just stood there waiting for my sister to gather her belongings. This is unprofessional and over the top. I cannot believe that management let this go. I do not recommend supporting this location at all solely because of these people

In reply to GOATS response, I am not impressed. First off you are lying. My sister was not caught being dishonest, you falsely accused her of stealing clients when her client’s willingly asked for her information. These clients of hers were EARNED not stolen. Also you have no evidence of her stealing client info. Of course I am going to be public about it and I know that is what you don’t want. Welcome to America where free speech is a thing. Also GOAT if you look at the cameras you will find that the police officer did come and I nor my sister are lying. In fact they tried to investigate it then gave up because my sister was “going to leave anyway” which is not justifiable at all. Also my experience has everything to do with their service!!! A bad work environment can and will influence the service!!! Also GOAT you are forgetting that my husband and I got plenty of haircuts here. From the second you walk into those doors you are interacting with them. This is also really helpful for those who are thinking of applying here to work so you know what you are walking into. I loved having my sister cutting hair and knew she was the only one I could trust there. A lot of my sister’s cliental didn’t like the other barber’s because they were simply not as good and that is why they are asking for her number in the first place. I  am FURIOUS with the service that my father received yesterday at your location!!! I almost don’t know where to start… My husband, who has had a membership for nearly a year now , always received Excellent service at the Logan location. Last spring, my Father, who has Alzheimer’s, came to stay with us for a while and would go with my husband every week to the logan location. The service was so wonderful, they treated him so kindly and with such respect. He looked forward to his visits . When he was moved to  the George E. Walhlens  assisted Living center in Ogden, he missed his visits to GOAT and so we made arrangements for him to go to your location, in Clinton. His 1st visit went well,  he just didn’t care for the way they trimmed his beard. It was very straggly on the sides. I assured my sister, who had taken my father to his appointment, that they just need to let them know that the haircut was great but that his beard needed to be trimmed cleaner and to verbalize a little better what the expectations were.  She made the call before her husband brought my father in yesterday, to ensure that things were done correctly. Her husband took him to the appointment, got him settled in, went to use the bathroom, and when he came out the stylist and buzzed his hair! His beard still looks straggly and unkept on the sides.  My sister was so upset, she has been in tears ever since! His hair is so short he nearly looks bald! It is completely UNACCEPTABLE! We were told that notes are kept to ensure that he gets the correct service. I’m not sure if you were too busy? Was it a new inexperienced stylist? Did they just not care? I don’t know how this is even fixed??? It will take time to grow it out! It is getting into cold weather! The entire family is extremely upset about this. I struggle between anger and tears to even find the words to express how disgusted, angry, dissatisfied, disappointed, and hurt I am! My Father, because of his Alzheimer’s, is unable to verbalize well and this is why we try to be so vigilant about explaining things for him.

The receptionist behaves unprofessionally, often gossiping about clients and sharing private information, which raises serious concerns about confidentiality. Additionally, appointments are frequently rescheduled or mishandled, creating unnecessary frustration.

The environment is noticeably uninviting, likely due to high staff turnover and a dwindling client base. The management, particularly MJ the huge red head, displays favoritism and a lack of fairness, which contributes to a negative atmosphere. MJ seems more focused on maintaining personal relationships with her team than fostering a professional and equitable work environment. It’s concerning that the receptionist is her brother, further highlighting unprofessional practices.
