Rude, unfriendly, immature, pompous attitude Lululemon workers at their Closter, NJ store. Not sure what happened because in the past, their Closter staff was so nice and helpful. Now the staff seems to only want to be friendly and helpful to people of a certain race / ethnicity.
(Example: I walked into the store, and no “hello” nothing from any Lululemon worker. I see a Lululemon male worker standing further away by the register, looking straight ahead and clearly sees me. A few minutes later, a woman (of a different race) walks in, an immediate “hello” from the same male worker to this woman, and he walks upfront towards her, and I’m literally standing close to the woman. Then a female worker comes to the same woman, greeting her. Then two more women (different race too) come in. An immediate greeting to them too! By then, I’m walking around past workers and nothing. I’m holding items in my hands/arms and sifting through merchandise to find my size, etc. I see and hear a few other female workers greeting the other women. Then at one point, I’m standing next to a woman who is sifting through sports bras (like me) to find her size. Well, a female worker goes up to her right away and offers her help. And, I’m standing right there still sifting through to find my size. WOW! Then finally… that female worker asks me if I need a size. She didn’t say hello … nothing. One of the same workers who eagerly right away greeted/offering her help to the other customers.)
They make you feel so uncomfortable stepping foot to shop there. The “air” in there is negatively thick. It almost feels like going to high school, being judged by your appearance, race, ethnicity, etc. Unacceptable!
Don’t waste your time going here anymore. Go to Lululemon at Garden State Mall, Paramus, NJ, which is 5x bigger, has a large selection of items to shop from and most importantly- their staff has the best retail customer skills - treating everyone equally nice without regard to their race/ethnicity.
It’s a shame. It is deeply hurting the Lululemon brand. Lululemon Corporate needs to take immediate course of action and seriously train this staff with the right people /customer...
Read moreIt was my very first time in a Lululemon store and I honestly was enticed to purchase some of their products from many of my friends. They were saying that it's the most comfortable clothes ever and it'll change my life so with such high praise I reluctantly entered a shop.
I could have never been so wrong. Every employee was helpful and knowledgable. I had no idea how the little details in things like having liners or liner less clothes make a huge difference as well as the length of the inseam and the material it's made from. It makes sense how much they cost also when they had told me that if my shorts ever get damaged or ripped I can get them repaired. I tried on and ended up buying a Pace Breaker pair of liner less 9" inseam shorts.
Unfortunately they didnt have the color with the size I wanted however I did find out that they give a military discount to active duty service members. So I will be purchasing more of these fine products, maybe...

Clothing: Best mens clothing. I don’t understand how long it took Lulu to finally start marketing to men. There was nothing in the market for breathable, light, athletic pans and shirts that can be worn casual or even business casual.
My whole wardrobe is lululemon now, from athletic to leisure to casual wear. I love it and recommend every one to drop jeans and chinos and get...
