Poke Crew (Closter) — Restaurant in Closter

Ive been here before plenty of times and have never had any issues with the food. I've been having a craving for a tuna poke bowl, my usual order, for a while as I haven't been there in a while. As I said, I got my usual order and ate it. I didn't eat anything before this as it was pretty early and I felt completely fine so its not like I was sick before eating it. But maybe 30 minutes after eating it I started to feel weird/my stomach felt weird and I ended up throwing up the entire thing. The only other thing I consumed before, during and after eating it was water. I didn't change anything in my order, and I have tuna sushi and poke all the time and I've never gotten sick from any type of seafood before so I know I'm not allergic. And after throwing up I didn't have any other symptoms other than just being completely grossed out and shocked. $18 in the toilet, LITERALLY. I’m so glad Poke Crew opened their second location not too far away from Mitsuwa so whenever I go to North Jersey from the South, I can always make a whole day trip there between stopping by Poke Crew, Mitsuwa, and Daiso. I love all the choices they offer and the custom bowls I can create myself since I’m such a picky eater. I never really eat raw fish just because, but I’ll gladly try any of their signatures or white tuna (my favorite!) just because I know they uses the freshest ingredients and everything always tastes amazing!
