I have no words. But also so many at the same time.

I was so excited to come back to such a nostalgic place, but I was met with utter disappointment.

First of all, in what area of god’s green earth do they call this bulgogi dupbap? Even though it caused an immediate - and I mean IMMEDIATE - visceral reaction to my stomach, it was flavorless.

Now let’s talk about the service. It took more than ten minutes of us looking around quite obviously for someone to take our order. The staff weren’t friendly by any means. Every time we asked for something - water, the check, the sidedishes - it took a clumsy eternity.

Nearly everything was flavorless. The ones that weren’t (like the bibim naengmyeon) just tasted wrong. I took a bite of my sister’s jeyook dupbap. Let me know why it tasted metallic??? Confused. The mandoo? Flavorless. And to top it all off, the lady gave us MAYBE a teaspoon of soy sauce for our mandoo. Oh, so you’re stingy too?

It’s difficult to find anything good to say about this place. Maybe the...

I called in around 6 to place an order for an order to go on a Friday night. I saw the menu online and ordered the spicy red pepper based cold noodles (goki bibim nyengmyun) with meat and frozen dumplings. The staff on the phone told me that my order will be ready to be picked up in 5 minutes. Sweet!

I asked the staff on the phone about their sizes. The smallest size gets you 150g, the medium is 200g, and the large is 300g.

I drive in the rain to pick up my order, and sure enough, the staffs were already expecting me with my food all ready to go. Due to the flood warnings in the area, the restaurant was pretty empty.

I drive 1.5 hours back home and the noodles are surprisingly still pretty good. They also packed beef stock which I assume to boil the dumplings in and possibly turn it into dumpling soup, which was nice.

The large size bibim noodle (300g) was enough for 2 adults.

The bibim noodle was thinner than that from other restaurants in the area. It was distinctive...

The service here is absolutely terrible! Was trying to have a nice lunch date with my mom, 3 year old and 5 month old and as soon as we walked in got a sense that we were not welcome. No smiles and the two women looked unhappy. Not only that after we paid the check the older woman came and grumbled and made a fuss about the rice and food that my 3 year old dropped on the floor making it super clear she was not happy about it. Then she took it a step further and she complained to my mom about me asking why I was just sitting there and not cleaning the floor up while I was finishing feeding my baby a bottle. It’s very hard for me to be unhappy about a restaurant yet alone leave a bad review but I have never experienced anything like that. It was my first time and last time and will not be coming back ever again. Do not go there especially if...

A friend of mine highly recommended this place so we drove about 30 min from edgewater! Because we were a large group of 8, we had to wait about 15-20 min. The food was nothing short of amazing and fresh! Because we waited so long, they even through in a free side of dumplings which was very kind of them. If you’re like me and can’t decide between the watery glass noodles or the spicy glass noodles, I’d recommend trying the spicy glass noodles! I usually prefer the other, but when my friends ordered the spicy one, I instantly regretted not getting it. Regardless of which one you choose, I don’t think you would regret it. This place was amazing. It's a little family owned restaurant and there was such great service. Jay was our server and she made sure to explain everything and make us feel very comfortable here as it was our first time here. Make sure to stop by here. Great service and you'll feel very welcomed. Food is amazing and you smell it as soon as you go through the doors. We absolutely loved our experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone else!
