I was treated so poorly by their employee that I refuse to walk in the place again. I do not and will not wear a mask anywhere. It is my right to exercise my religious freedoms, it is not some 20 something's right to chase me through the store demanding that I wear a mask. When I stated that I was exempt from wearing a mask, the employee continued to chase me through the store demanding that I wear a mask. She never requested documentation or reasoning for me not wearing a mask she just said that service will be refused and that I was to leave the store. I'm sorry but if you are that scared of the flue you need to keep yourself at home rather than keeping me from having any form of normal life. I'm curious what will it be next.....Do I have to submit to being chipped like an animal to have service? I would rather starve to death standing for my freedom and religious beliefs. Their prices are way too high anyway. It is bad enough that this world has been turned upside down over a flue but to ruin my holiday due to not being able to purchase the needed foods for our small gathering, shame on you and your employees. The only reason for 2 star's is because of the friendliness of the gal's at the registers. Plus how helpful at times they can be. Otherwise, if you buy meat and aren't a regular customer make sure you LOOK AT IT, SMELL IT, CHECK IT before you leave! Stew meat appears to look fresh, but if I would have waited 1 day after buying, I would have had to throw it away. Bought a roast, same thing, got it home, opened it and it already smelled and bottom that wasn't visible was brown. Now I know why one of the elderly regulars upsets the butcher's because she tells them she wants them to show her before...

Value in name only, if you're looking for a few items then it's cheaper than driving to Greencastle. If you're filling 1 or 2 carts, take the drive up north to walmart or kroger. They do have a good selection of products but mostly off-brand. Meats seem to be the best value there. Custom cut steaks if ordered a day or 2 before you actually want them. Ground round hamburger is the best and has better flavor than the chuck. I've been there all times of day and mostly on weekends, no problem...
