He had to be placed where he was for electrical reasons and because in the corner is the best place at the venue. (he wanted to be right next to the couples wedding table which is not remotely appropriate.) Ruined our daughters ceremony: played wrong song for her entry (she’d communicated song with lyrics, he played version with no lyrics). Then he decided to take the mic after the last groomsmen recessed, from my father the pastor, and in a game show voice say “Let’s hear it for a great ceremony!” It was horrifying and tacky. Everyone just got up and left their seats, and we the parents and grandparents were last, walking out behind the crowd of people. We never got the recessional that we had hoped for as parents. Maybe he’s used to being in control, but last I checked that’s not how a wedding ends. If we could get money...

We can’t recommend Space Coast Weddings enough! We hired them for our wedding at the Brevard Zoo and were very lucky to be paired with DJ Mark. Throughout the whole process, Space Coast Weddings was very responsive as I asked questions about the packages they offered, the logistics of setup, etc. During the final DJ call the week of the wedding, Mark blew us away. It was during the AT&T outage and he effortlessly found a workaround so that we could still have the call. He was so incredibly kind and easygoing, and asked very detailed questions that I wouldn’t have even thought to consider (and I consider myself a pretty detail oriented person haha). He walked us through the whole night, letting us know what to expect. The wedding went SEAMLESSLY and we attribute so much of that to DJ Mark! He worked with our requested songs to build perfect playlists for each moment. He facilitated some impromptu karaoke and dancing that lasted to the very end of the night (which is amazing because my husband and I are not huge dancers, so that speaks to the energy that Mark created!).
