On a Tuesday evening, 05/17/23, I was traveling on Old Chicago Road. My iPhone suddenly stopped. I had no GPS, couldn’t make a call for assistance, it was dead. I saw a Verizon cell phone shop, drove to it and walked in. A male employee was sitting at the desk in the back and looked up. I said, “could you help me? I’m traveling and my phone died, I have no GPS, can’t make a call. Could you help?” His reply, “We sell phones, don’t repair them “. I again explained the situation about traveling and unable to call for help. I then said “Since you are a lot younger than me ( I’m 68) could you just look at it? His response was , “If I touch your phone it’s $35.00, and I’m not supposed to do that”. I said “Well then could you tell me how to fix it, ( he had said something about a restart/reboot?) He shook his head and said, “$35.00”. I walked away disillusioned and upset. Knowing that a woman requested help and was on the road without cell service is sent away without any assistance is disturbing. I only hope if it happens to his girlfriend, partner, mother some kind soul would assist that person. I will NEVER purchase or recommend Verizon for any reason. Read moreI brought my Dad in to pay his bill today around 2:30 they both acted busy but allowed a young man to cut directly in front of my Dad after we had been waiting and they seen us waiting even greeted us to tell us they would be with us in a second .. Until her friend walked in he was allowed to be served before us ..We just left after that.its like kindergarten all over again at the phone store..Poor customer service.We will be switching carrier's due to same kind of treatment every time I take him in to pay his bill their.Brought my Dad here on December 3rd after 2pm to pay his phone bill.. Read moreWe were in to get my wife a new phone, Corlando done an excellent job with us. He had a rude customer come in and was nasty to him while he was waiting on us. Corlando kept his composer the entire time this person was being extremely rude to him about a phone that may or may not have been there. Corlando was polite to this person even as he was talking under his breath about "shifty service". Corlando told us he had been there since 9:00am. I thought that he had been exceptionally polite and was doing his job as well as could have been expected. He also acknowledged everyone as they were walking through the door.
