Mr Gyros — Restaurant in Coldwater

We've driven past this place many times on the way to our favorite movie spot but today we decided to check it out. My husband ordered the Regular Gyro and the crazy fries, I ordered the Polish Sausage. The gyro was just stuffed full of meat and with an extra portion of cucumber sauce it was a messy delightful treat. My polish sausage came with some sauted onions, pickle and mustard and was just a perfect combination. I honestly am very picky but the combo of flavors together really hit the spot. The fries were outstanding partially because it loomed like all the cheese, bacon and onions were added and mixed together evenly instead of just slapped on top making it uneven.

One lady dealing with a sitting room that fits 18 and two high chairs was a lot to ask but she knocked it out of the park. The only complaint we had was that there was no lamb options for the gyros, only beef...

I have been going next door to Mr Gyros for about a year and never went in. It looks like a little nothing, hole in the wall place, with a sign that says “No Restroom” right on the front door, so already it’s pretty unwelcoming. However, my son was “so hungry” so we checked it out. I ordered 2 gyros, and a chicken tender meal with fries and drinks and paid less than 30 bucks, so I don’t understand why the other comments are complaining about the prices, less than 10 dollars per meal is pretty affordable compared to other gyro shops. Husband and I got a gyro and an order of breaded mushrooms this evening. The gyro was ok, the meat was not the same though, thin sliced, seemed more like steak em meat. The mushrooms which we have had many times before from here, something was not right with them. They had a bad after taste as if maybe the oil was burnt. They were very greasy also. Made me completely sick the rest of the night. No condiments or napkins in to go bag. The service was good at least she smiled and seemed friendly unlike the lady that waited on me other times who seemed unfriendly but at least the food was better.
