I called last week to schedule an appointment after reviewing all the great reviews people had on the wonderful experience they had. My appointment was for tuesday at 12 noon. Do to a bad thunder storm arrived 12 mins late. The person at the front desk greeted meet when I came in I explained the reason for my delayed arrival he said no problem. I asked how long was the tint process he told 2 hours. He took my keys and my Groupon and told me I could have a seat in the waiting room. At 2:30 I saw my vehicle I was excited because it was finished. WRONG it was just being taken back to the bay area to be worked on. I went out to the front desk and the original person I spoke to when I arrived was not there the new gentleman must have saw the discuss on my face. I asked how much longer he called the bay area and you could here the person shouting in Spanish but, I could make out what he was saying but, from the look on the gentleman's face it wasn't favorable. He paused and looked away and said another 1.5 hours. I was fuming. I said this is not acceptable and went back to the waiting area. My car was finally ready at 4:15. I explained to the gentleman that I had been there since 12:12 and no one came to tell me that it was going to be a delay. They could have told me when I arrived that they were running behind. They didn't offer me a discount for waiting 4 hours. This may have been a fluke but, I was not happy with the way the delay was handled. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending Insane Car Audio, in College Park to any of my friends...
Read morePoor service from the start.. Had an automatic starter that stopped working. They did not install but said they could help by running a diagnostic. Made an appointment and was on time, actually 10 minutes early. Went in and Chris was on the phone trying to get their credit card machine to work. He told me I needed to pay cash or make another appt. So I said I’ll run to the bank down the street and come right back. I was back in 10 minutes and when I got back, the shop was locked up/closed. I walked around back to the Work shop which was open but no one there. There was no note on door or anything. I waited for 15-20 minutes and finally Chris walks back with his lunch. (I should have left but he had my electronic starter fab and paperwork) He took my key and took my vehicle around back. 45minutes later he comes back and says they can’t fix it. Appt ran 45 mins late therefore making me late for my next appt. Also their waiting room was extremely hot. No fan to move the air. Very stuffy. I ended taking my vehicle elsewhere a couple days later and in 5 minutes they had it working and no charge. Somehow my starter fab was placed in valet mode. Isn’t Crazy CarAudio the experts, why wasn’t this checked? Called Chris and said I wanted a refund. Have Called a couple more times and each time Chris tells me he has to talk to the owner. Still haven’t received any call back and we are over a month later. Very unhappy and will never go back nor recommend them. For professional service go...

Their business model is based on upselling when you arrive and having you pay extra for higher tint percentage. I refused and the car sat at the lot until 4pm when I called to see if it was ready. They said they still have not worked on my car bc i made a "drop-off appt" not a "scheduled appt" so everyone else was ahead of me and my car won't be done until just before closing at 7pm. I needed my car for an evening dinner out and took my car back and got a refund from groupon. Why would I call a week ahead to get a drop off appt? Buyer beware! They also quoted me $160 to install subwoofer and amp, but a place a few miles away behind a Mcdonald charges $100. Also got 70% viper tint for entire car for $150 with lifetime warranty...
