I had a hell of a time finding out where this place was for my layover in ATL. The park is located outside of security areas so if you’re laying over in ATL, you’ll have to exit the airport and go through security again when you’re done at the dog park.
It’s located across the street when you exist the southwest corner of the domestic terminal/baggage claim/ground transportation area, just south of the Sky Train station.
It’s small but large enough for dogs to stretch their legs and sniff around on turf. There’s little shade but it’s at least outdoors for dogs that are picky about...
Read moreThe OUTDOOR airport pet relief is through the Baggage Claims and outside of SOUTH GATE. The pet relief is fenced, with large rocks and artificial turf, and a few metal benches. There are also some unique dog sculptures made of painted metal. It’s nice to let your dog run free within the fenced area.
